@Lincoln, you missed to reset the 'Heroes' at 1:47:00. That would have probably Win you the Game with all the movements you couldn't use fully a few rounds later and only One Missing Star to achieve also the second End of Game condition. greets

I just purchased this game for $20. It looks like a LOT OF GAME for $20. I’m excited, I was glad to see a Gamenight play of it.

From the F.A.Q. the Reset Rules were given errata. "During Reset, only the cubes on activation spaces of technologies with continuous effects can be left on the technology. All other cubes must be put back into the bag."

This game is an amazingly fun game. I was surprised twice by this. First because it was not what I expected, second because how much me and my group loved it.

from the F.A.Q. you cannot look in the bag, but you may count your cubes "May I look into the bag to see what cubes I have? No. The cubes into the bag (like the cards in a deck) cannot be examined during a game. At any moment it is instead allowed to count the cubes remaining inside the bag (as it would be allowed to count the cards in a deck)."

When you gain a cube you do place the gained cube in your bag, but when you "replace" a cube, the replaced cube goes to the supply, and the new cube is placed exactly where the old cube was regardless of legal placement. Rules, pg 13 "IMPORTANT: In the case where a player removes a cube to gain a different cube, this new cube is positioned in place of the removed cube, even if it would not be possible due to color requirement."

VERY IMPORTANT OFFICIAL FAQ RULE: You can't leave the cubes on the board or on the cards during your reset phase, except if there is an infinite symbol. This is very, very, very important. Another faq rule is the yellow race can use their "spend gem to do effect" power just once every reset. Anyway, this is my favorite game. It's so deep. On your first game, you'll think some races are better than others. They're not, they're just harder to get into.

Hello. I just got this game. Do you remove the cubes after using the ability or do you just remove the cubes during reset? Another question is, on your next turn, can you again use the filled ability? Like on the bottom right ability, do you get to draw another card? Thanks

Any player that fulfills the end game condition gets the bonus 2 points even if there isn't a tile available for them to take. Rules, pg 11. "Please note that even if there are only 2 tiles for each end-of-game condition, in the unlikely event that more than two players fulfill the same conditions all of them still have the right to get an Objective tile (mark it somehow)."

I do like this game and always play with the variable player powers and the different starting city powers. Gives you a little focus early on as it can be a bit hard for those first few turns picking a strategy.

Well, it's called "saving" the playlist to your own section of playlists; not "subscribe" as such. The playlist will then appear in the "left column" (when the browser window is wide enough, otherwise you need to click a button first). Though it seems less "alert-prone" than regular channel subscriptions.

The other version of the game, Faction War, just adds variable player powers, the rest of the rules are basically the same.
