thelegendgamer187 There are multiple reasons to criticise Victory, mind you. I love Neptunia, I do, but out of all of them, Victory (and, since this game has no minor changes, Re;Birth3) are my least favorite out of the lot. There were several characters either sidelined or dropped in Victory. The Candidates, who were hyped up and advertised as the main focus of the last game are entirely sidelined and do not appear until the final chapter of the storyline, with only Gear getting any focus prior to this, and she's mainly there just to be made fun of. The humans from previous games, despite being your allies throughout nearly the entirety of the last two games, do not appear in this game as playable characters, and those that do are relegated to DLC only, while they introduced new humans, who are also just DLC. Compa and Iffy, Neptune's best friends for God's sake, are just DLC and, while they appear in-story, don't contribute much in either universe. Gust, Nisa/Nippon Ichi, and 5pb., despite appearing in both of the last two games, don't appear at all in this game. While I understand the issue with Gust and Nisa/Nippon Ichi (Gust Corp. being bought out and Nippon Ichi and Compile Heart having a falling out), it just feels like they did not care.

I wish people would do their research on video games instead of making stereotypical assumptions just because it's a game from Japan. If a video game were all about looking at a girl's breasts for the entire game, it would be boring as hell. That's why I think games like Dead or Alive: Xtreme Beach Volleyball is stupid. The Hyperdimension Neptunia games are great for their humour and their ever-improving battle system. Not to mention all of the video game industry references they make. If it's not your thing, that's fine. Don't make fun of people for liking it.

Well the Remakes on Vita suffer from poor framerate here and there. I don't think well will see a Vita remake of VII (although the vita remakes aren't that well optimized since the framerate gets better with each game). Maybe the next handheld will do.

Indeed, Nao was the former singer of fripSide. The current singer of fripSide is Yoshino Nanjou, who voiced Ayase Eri in Love Live! School Idol Project. I might also add that Nanjou actually voiced a character in Hyperdevotion Noire, she's the voice of Ryuka, the Yakuza series representation.

Well, the Re;birth games are portable remakes of the PS3 titles that have been coming out since 2010. They already have basic plot from those titles and HDN Victory's gameplay elements, which is why the Re;birth titles are being released so quickly.

Which is a strange similarity since by the time the fripSide did the Railgun series openings Nao had left the group. And Yaginuma, composer for Fripside, has only ever composed one song for the Neptunia series, it being the opening of the very first game, back when Nao was still in fripSide.

Every Neptunia game is it's own dimension. So they are story unrelated. It's like a Final Fantasy just with the same characters. Although iirc Victory 2 will be the first full sequel to a game.
