A: The Varial Arc
Let’s unbox this bad boy, shall we? The Varial Arc by Hyperlite is a surf-style board designed to be run as a twin fin. For this board, you purchase the fins and traction kit separately and set it up to your riding preference. I'm giving y'all a behind the scenes look at how to set up the fins and the traction. As for me? I prefer to put my traction pad as far back as I can get it but I don’t care too much about centering it on the board. Your foot can always find the middle of the board!

The 4.8 felt like it was going to be too big for me but it surprised me by being a great size. It’s one of the fastest boards that I’ve ever ridden. It’s really fast, really playful, can be aggressive, but can also be super cruise-y. It felt like an all-around board that a lot of people can have plenty of fun with.

Hey Shaun! What is the best sized board for beginners 60 & 75kg both 5 foot 11. We like the broadcast but not sure about size. Thanks.

Depends on the wave as well. If the wave is not a big ol wave w lots of push, probably the bigger Broadcast 5'2". But if a decent size wave, at 5'11" and not super heavy you could go the shorter at 4'8". The Broadcast is the best bet for people learning to get up and just start surfing. It's one of if not the most stable boards out there and you can't beat it for the price. I suggest it for pretty much every boat bc it keeps the beginners off your nicer boards when they are learning and don't know how to be careful w your more spendy whips.

Just wondering what wave shape number and speed you would suggest for some one starting out vs when you start to try 3s

sometimes I'll drop the speed .1-.2 so the wave gets a little more push and a little more wrapped around the rider to keep them in the wave. Can change between different boat models, but that's generally a good move.

Good question William because when I first got on it I thought it was going to be too big but I've ended up really liking it and is one of my favorite boards currently. I haven't been on the Accelorator so I can't say just yet on that one

Yah Id go between 16 and 21 depending on the weight of the rider and size of the board. But if u notice they are wishy washy u normally need a bit more speed. At least that’s how it is for me

Yes the go pro mount does come standard on any nautique boat with a tower

To me, wake skates are a death trap, they fly off in mid air and you can land on them, but if your good at them they look super fun
