Just had an abdominal hysterectomy a week ago and the pain & soreness is horrible but the gas is the worse honestly!

Great information. I will be having this procedure in about a month. Here's the thing though, I am 67 so I am very nervous. My uterus is very large and causing issues with my bladder. The report from the ultrasound says the fibroids are innumerable and two are quite large. Your videos are priceless to me. Thank You!

How long was your surgery

I’m actually not sure. Because I wasn’t allowed to have someone come with me and I was under anesthesia I wasn’t really aware of how much time has passed.

Mine was 2.5 hours

Why not do it by laparoscopy you can do it in Egypt in less than 1000 dollar

I explain how that decision was made in one of my other videos. I asked my doctor what she would do with her body. And she recommended that I do in an open abdominal in order to get the uterus out in one piece in case there was pathology. She didn’t want to chop it up inside my body. That’s what has to be done when you have a large uterus removed laparoscopically. However, I get more detail about that another video if you want to watch those. As far as $1000 I wish it was $1000. Healthcare in the United States is very very expensive.
