Can you take the cover from the old mirror (mine's like a metallic white) and put it on the replacement mirror? DO 2017 -2020 ALL have the 'proximity sensor' light in the mirror? Or do I have to order one that specifically HAS that?

@@Bryan-bv2sq Unfortunately no. It seems to be random, we've had several more come through straight off the lot and I try almost every one. Sometimes passenger mirror comes off no problem, same for driver. Other times they're both stuck.

Use a plat head screwdriver to help

Push on the white button on the bottom. Helps much easier. I struggled with it tonight until I pressed more on the bottom instead of the top

I finally figured it out. Instead of pressing on the tab itself i used a flat head screwdriver and pressed on the piece the tab is connected to and it came loose. If that makes any sense.
