I must confess my jealousness watching you trac testing a 448KW car I wish I can turn back the clock by >20 years from my current 70 years of age ............but I would only be trac testing a 5.6L VTII Holden spitting out 230KW max......the best at the time Thanks for putting your regular informative clips

I’m not a fan of EV’s but I would totally own one of them, they just look so fun to drive and mess about in.

Yep, agree. It's the best EV in my opinion... because it's almost a petrol car in terms of character and engagement.

Hyundai have really hit the spot with this pretty amazing and versatile performance SUV, it's a winner whatever way you look at it!..I suppose the progressive improvement would come from the battery, its efficiency and weight.

Thanks. Yes, for sure, battery tech is improving all the time and I hear Hyundai does have something up its sleeve to improve weight and range. Like most carmakers I guess. Let's see.

I might be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure that adjusting the torque front to back in fact limits the power of either the front or rear motor, so in fact you are not getting all of the torque the car can make as you state in the vid...... A 50 :50 balance would be the only scenario you are getting all the torque....

I spoke to one of the Hyundai staff about this specifically, and he said you are getting pretty much 100% of the power even if you switch to max RWD bias. Power is limited but only slightly, he said. I previously spoke to a Hyundai engineer from Germany about this stuff as well, he said going 100% rear biased does not actually cut power from the front axle completely. There is still around 5% or more being sent to the front in certain circumstances, depending on steering angle and wheel speed and other factors. Hope that helps.

I'm not a fan of EV's, and this box is no exception. They could at least have a decent sounding digital engine sound, not whatever that is.😂 Ok ok I lie but it's hard to admit, I want to drive it.

How sure are you that you get 650HP from the rear? That doesn't make much sense since the two motors are only rated for that amount total in NGB and if you disable the front one there is no way to use that motor to push the rear wheels.

Go watch Misha at the Ring do 2 laps back to back in one of these... no brake issues or battery overheating nothing . He went balls to the wall chasing another Hyundai EV and it was incredible. I may be wrong but I don't think any other EV can do 2 laps of the ring flat out ( maybe the Taycan but not 100% sure)
