This game actually looks super fun and interesting, I’ve never played a prince of Persia game either so I’m excited to finally get into this game series! Also btw, does anyone know what happens to the Sands of time remake? I know the game was delayed multiple times due to it being sent to multiple teams in multiple but I haven’t heard about it in a long time.

The trailer got my interest, but the gameplay here and especially the interviews got me determined to buy the game as soon as I can afford it (games are really expensive in my country). You can feel the passion, and while some companies completely misunderstand and antagonize creators and the current internet landscape, these guys chose someone who was not the biggest creator or someone who was already a big fan that might fanboy over stuff, opened up about many topics in an honest manner and even moments talking about anime or living in Hyrule where they really felt like just fellow geeks talking about stuff they love. That's the kind of people that create a fun game made with passion, not just a product in a franchise to meet expectations and sell DLCs or microtransactions.

At this point, Choc should be the ambassador of Ubisoft. If anyone can correct course with this company's PR and the gaming community, it's him. That being said, watching this gameplay during the Ubisoft Direct (DirSoft? UbiRect? The conference) I was getting massive Strider vibes from this game and flow and the look of the game rocks.

Okay, some Hades stuff, some Hollow Knight stuff, Metriod-ish death. The gameplay looks real good. I wish the visuals can be a bit more "rough"? The flashiness fits the gameplay, but I do miss the more grounded old Prince of Persia. Potion drinking is a nice nod, hopefully the have floating potions, and of course more spikes, metal chompers, doppelganger boss etc.

I actually like not playing as the prince and having to save him, it of course gives Zelda vibes. I wish they would take influence from Castlevania aria of sorrow and implement rpg mechanics but regardless I love prince of Persia and Metroidvania games so I'll definitely check this out.

I didn't like the music used in the trailer, but I loved what I saw. The gameplay, the level design, characters, even the story. I'm glad this video allowed me to take a bigger peak into these things. Loved the interview too. I'm pretty it's the same studio as Rayman Origins/Legends and I love those games. I'm very happy that Choc got this opportunity, even as a newcomer for the franchise. He made excellent questions, he had a very fresh perspective due to that. I hope he goes back and play the trilogy that started with Sands of Time. I like PoP 2008 too, but that's never getting a sequel. I love the claw.

Thanks for demo play and interview. Anime inspiration makes that game kind of generic for me. Prince of Persia is about unique middle east fairytale-ish stylization. So stylization of this game is bit weird, main character is not prince, and I did not see any puzzle. I am not sure if it's still Prince of Persia game. That makes me sad. But It seems like good metroidvania game. I will give it a shot.

Asscreed #24 with updates takes around 110gb or so to install that is not taking into account the dlc, the season passes, or the cut story arcs most likely giving you around 150gb in the end No way in hell can Ubisoft compress all of that into a 16gb or a 32gb or even less 64gb cartridge for a physical release

As a fan of PS2 era prince of persia and metroidvanias in general, I am so very happy to see such a wonderful continuation of the series. New character is cool as all hell, combat is crispy and stylish, the supporting characters and bosses look so cool, and it's also nice to see games go their own way with art direction instead of trying to be photorealistic all the time.

Wait... Sargon is black? My first thought when I saw Mounir Radi, the Game Director, was: _"Wait: did he shaped the hero at his image?!"_ Really, apart from the rope hair, his skin is pretty light. Moreover when they did include a black female amazon warrior. He is slightly darker than the "viking", a way way lighter than the "amazon". I think he is just an arabian guy with a team who didn't want to put too much an effort into animating too much hair.
