Man.... that is a significant increase.... I did not expect that. If only it wasnt so large and bulbous. It looks better on a fatbob than a lowrider S though for sure. You probably dont have time for another cam swap, but would love to see an Andrews 485 in there. Very little information about it out there so far. Thanks for the great videos, looking forward to the next one.

Thanks for watching & leaving the comment. I know exactly what you mean about it. It actually does suit the Fatbob a lot better, but I'm still not sold on the looks of it. If I see the apprentice with idle hands I will have him swap out the cam. It will most likely be the CR515 though sorry. Only because I have it here in stock. Thanks for supporting the channel 👍

We had an ST with a 131 and that pipe. I love the looks of that exhaust and now I see it’s actually a great performing exhaust system also. Love the channel.
@UnrulyRider4 ай бұрын
Would have made more power with an HPI, Sawicki, or Fab28 2-into-1. The other exhaust I mentioned also look and sound a lot better, and weigh less than the Screamin' Eagle emissions compliant junk.
@jimyounger94904 ай бұрын
@@UnrulyRider so is this the best set up in the world ?? If I do it no one can tell me something else can make even more power correct ?? But if so , just what the hell good is it then ??
@UnrulyRider4 ай бұрын
@@jimyounger9490 The whole point of running a Screamin Eagle exhaust is that it meets emissions requirements and will still be honored under a factory warranty. They gutted the catalyst so it no longer meets emissions or be covered under warranty should something happen. Why not just run the better exhaust from the start? The money is better spent in the aftermarket exhaust if you want looks, performance, and sound.

Don’t all SE pipes still have the cat?
@MasterTechMiller4 ай бұрын
Yes. But I removed it on this pipe way back when I first trialed it on the 117ci Lowrider S (link in description). It is still a quiet pipe with the Cat removed. Not sure if the Cat being removed has hurt the performance of it, but I am still blown away with how it responded on this combo.
@UnrulyRider4 ай бұрын
@@MasterTechMiller So no longer emissions compliant, defeating the entire point of using this pipe. I'm willing to bet that other pipes would make better power... HPI long, Fab28 or Sawicki mid-length - would probably make better numbers, as well as look better and weigh less.
@MasterTechMiller4 ай бұрын
@UnrulyRider more than likely there are many pipes out there that would be better than this option. This video is what it is.
@T4G954 ай бұрын
@@UnrulyRidera high flow cat really isn’t going to choke and engine down as much as people think. If the rest of the pipe is straight through you can get some benefits from a bit of back pressure. My v and h big shots were a huge improvement from the stock exhaust system
@UnrulyRider4 ай бұрын
@@T4G95 LOL, Vance and Hines short shots and big shots are terrible for a performance exhuast! What were your "huge improvements" in other than noise? Asking torque or hp and was that over the curve or peak numbers?

Should have shown the graph in SAE and also would be nice to know the correction factor of your dyno...

Will take a photo and post it in my community section on my channel. The difference will be lucky to be 2 or 3 numbers. Everyone gets their mind twisted over correction factors.

Everyone or 98% of Motorcycle tuners in OZ use STD smoothing 5 when dyno tuning and you get your print out so if that’s the way they doing it and only comparing with the Majority it doesn’t really matter
@UnrulyRider4 ай бұрын
@@danr919 Cool, here in the states we use SAE as its closer to real world numbers... STD is always a bit higher. The correction factor could be set to zero allowing the number to read higher as well. All tricks many dyno operators play to get higher numbers. Not saying that is what was done here, but I've seen it more than a few times.
