There is so much to consider for surrogacy, not the least of which would be the fatigue on your own body with four kids, the emotional toll that would increase with hormones and cell transfer, as well as the potential to go against your convictions through contracting with particular couples, such as aborting if they decide they don't want a boy, and a number of other factors. I appreciate your heart about wanting to help other couples who have been dealing with infertility. That's very selfless of you.

Hemorrhaging even a little can definitely be a concern for your health alone mama.❤ I would love to be a surrogate and have always thought I’d love to be one day. My experience though with my 3rd pregnancy (currently 20 weeks) is making it seem like I either will get that chance ripped away regardless of what I want. Plus I wanna be here for my children I currently have and my husband. I’m pregnant with our 3rd baby a son! Ive had two healthy pregnancy prior in 2016 and 2018, no gestational diabetes, never hemorrhaged, not high risk once so ever no Pre-eclampsia and I’ve never had uterine surgery of any sort. Easy vaginal deliveries and no complications with my placenta! I’m 26 now so always recovered quickly as I had them young! I am suspected to have Placenta Accreta. No one I know or in my family has had any issues with their placenta during pregnancy. It’s rare and for my case no rhyme or reason it’s looking like. I’m getting a ultrasound done with MFM Wednesday because my doctor found no distinction between my uterus and placenta and also found a placental lake (usually mean nothing or could be in relation to Accreta for my situation) and probably need an MRI after to confirm if they agree with the findings. If I am diagnosed I will have a 1 in 14 chance of bleeding out and not making it. It’s been incredibly eye opening- I have two daughters I need and want to be here for plus my unborn son that I want to meet. The fact I possibly may not make it even being an option is terrifying. A hysterectomy is very probable and I would need to do alot of extra monitoring until my delivery. Baby is 100% fine it’s just me in danger. I’d need to do a c-section for sure between 34-36 weeks best case scenario and I’ll likely need multiple transfusions. It’s not always caught with ultrasounds as well which is scary! You are higher risk of accreta with IVF, c-section and if you required any medical intervention after your still birth such as a D&E. Definitely something to think about. Maybe there is some other way for you to reach out and help those who struggle to conceive that would be just as fullfiling! Maybe being a doula, a spokesperson/voice or some sort of counselor. I 100% support surrogacy. It’s definitely a wonderful thing to do! But remember to keep your health in mind❤ All I’ve been thinking lately is I’m glad I have life insurance on myself for my family in case things go south.

As an adoptee, I recognise the gift of giving between adults who want to have an ‘experience’… a ‘parent experience’, or a ‘surrogate experience’… but there is a lifelong grief and trauma experienced inside the child, from separation that cannot be developmentally understood by any newborn. The celebration around the birth often overlooks the very real losses for the child, their disconnection from you creates a catastrophic life threatening loss for the newborn. Nobody can ever explain to a newborn why they are going through what they are, and our bodies are wired to adapt via naturally activating our survival mechanisms (fight/flight/freeze/fawn). We can remain in this state for decades, as it becomes wired into our brain and nervous system developing. Adoptee loss often gets cast aside with the expectation to be grateful…. for being a gift. I love your channel and enjoy watching. I hope I haven’t offended you in any way, but wanted to highlight something that often isn’t considered,, which is a minefield of emotional experiences of the developing child that impact over the span of a lifetime. The wounds of having to be ‘grateful’ carry a huge weight that can wipe out one’s natural identity to be who they authentically are.

Wow, I never knew any of this but wondered what the emotional/mental struggles tied to surrogacy & adoption were. The loss on the surrogates side is very easy to understand imo but the newborn aspect makes perfect sense. I didnt take it as offensive or rude, hopefully she wont either. I will say kinda makes me wonder if shes considered the timing or if its right for her family given she did a video like 9days ago saying shes in a tough place...maybe the video date timing are delayed but hopefully shes taken into acct if there are things shes struggling with which would be understandable as a young mom with real life issues as we all have. Thanks for sharing what you did, very interesting, informative & imo necessary! She may already know but who knows...someone else may be interested to know as well.

You may have already discussed this but I'm wondering if you still have embryos left and if so what are you thinking of doing with them? I watched a documentary about a couple who had leftover embryos and they donated them to another infertile couple. The other couple did successfully have a baby and they all became friends so that child gets to grow up knowing his biological parents and siblings. Similar to an open adoption.

That would be so awesome to become a surrogate. I watch a couple of couples on utube that can’t get pregnant and I feel so bad for them. I never had trouble getting pregnant and I feel for anyone that has a problem. One family adopted 2 had 1 but no son and she’s always sad looking. I wish I could give her a son. So sweet of you to want to do this.

He wanted kids but with the economy how it is he never felt it was the rugby time and now it would be higher risk at I'm 39. If he wanted to i would still do it for him if approved though! As a mama that has had both her baby boys via gestational carrier I can just say I think it’s wonderful that even willing to do this. God knows we need wonderful woman like yourself to help families. Is it possible you could go the private route? That’s what we did. We used the same incredible surrogate twice and we met her privately and did both our agreements that way. Obviously this requires more leg work on the part of the IP’s to get everything in order - lawyers etc but it was the route we chose after having a no so go experience with an agency and I’m soooo glad we did it this way. Our surrogate is now a true member of our family. She is like an auntie to our boys and her and our families will always be close. I don’t think that would have happened if we went thru an agency. Obviously it also based on the kind of experience you are looking to have but I would definitely look into it if your still feel that calling after awhile. ❤

I have followed you since just after you lost Brynn and was so very happy when you were able to have a successful pregnancy. I have gotten away from youtube since last July because my daughter was killed in a car wreck leaving behind a 5 and 6 yr old daughters. Just wanted to say that while I think it is sort of odd that an agency would reject you because of 1 loss...I also think that there is a reason behind this rejection. Of course only GOD knows what that is...just like only He knows why my baby had to be called home. I am trying hard to have faith in this and hope you will be able to also. Take care.....will be watching for the boys bday party video

There’s a few comments and thoughts from some about it being too hard for her to give up the baby. My thoughts are that you will have some emotions. But, when you know this is someone else’s baby and you are giving them the gift of having their own child, it makes you able to hand that child over. Especially since Rachelle has struggled herself with infertility. She knows how it feels to desperately want a child. And willing to do whatever it takes. I think she’d be a fantastic surrogate.

You can prob be one privately. Lots of people want kids and can’t have them and can’t find someone. Like people like me. With medical problems we don’t even pass the agency screening even though spouse very healthy. But drs don’t want me to get pregnant cause a rare disorder. So it even makes adoption hard. You can prob find people just like that who live near you. It’s crazy the rules for good people who want to have kids. Yet many bad people have kids that get abused. I would think about it because it’d be hard if a family decides to abort the child if there was something that’s was “wrong” when there really isn’t or will heal after birth. If you say no the baby is healthy I’m not subjecting myself to that, then that’s valid as well and you shouldn’t have to, then what happens to the child if it’s born? Parents don’t want it then what? Idk there’s a lot to think about when being a surrogate. It can be a beautiful thing but small things as well..

Your are such an amazing person for wanting to help out another couple.Don't give up trying to help another family.Maybe reach out to Bella and her husband they are waiting to have another baby and they both are amazing parents. There story of fertility has been heartbreaking to watch, even though they adopted a little girl it would so be nice to see them with one more child.

If you do end up doing it, make sure the parents are GOOD people. My friend was a surrogate last year, she developed pre-eclampsia and almost died yet the intending parents called her names and yelled at her for delivering baby early 😔 like she lost her ability to have children and these men were so horrible to her

Dont toss it out the window yet. You can still be a surrogate with a private couple. I believe you still need to do all the preparation but you can still get to help a couple grow a family. Don’t give up. You WILL NEED your own attorney to protect you, Justin and your beautiful family in this process. Just don’t give up if you have your heart set on it. ♥️♥️♥️ Good luck in your pursuit

Them disqualifying you makes me so sad. You would be an amazing surrogate and you deserve the opportunity to bring joy to another couple if that's what you want to do

I would look into another agency. Yeah, you’ve had successful pregnancies after Brynn. Wtf?

To be honest I can't see you carrying a baby for 9 months and giving birth to it and giving it up to someone else❤❤❤

You should look at another clinic. A still birth shouldn't matter. It's just so common.❤❤

I think it would be such a selfish act, I thought about it years ago, but I was too old. In my mid 30s.

Hey Rachelle - want to help others have babies with no risk to your own health? You’ve got a slew of frozen embryos . . . just saying

I think surrogacy is super sad. The newborn is ripped from her mother and given to strangers so soon... they don't know about contracts, they are humans with humans rights

Remember, just because we’ve had a stillbirth, it doesn’t mean YOU did anything wrong, or your body did anything wrong, and there’s nothing wrong with you. I had an autopsy done when I lost my daughter. The whole report said “grossly unremarkable” so they couldn’t find anything wrong. It just happened. Just like SIDS, some of the babies that pass from SIDS have seen their pediatrician THAT DAY and been given a clean bill of health. Sometimes S*&T just happens. Look at those 4 little beauties you have running around eating you out of house and home. You make gorgeous, perfect little humans and any couple that would choose you as a surrogate would be blessed to have your body and heart help make their baby for them. 🩷🩷🩵🩵🩷
