The crowd I see, as the camera pans, is not the 50-60 yr olds sitting there, but rather as the music plays they are suddenly the teenagers they used to be, hair flowing, young tight skin, carefree...top down, warm sun, and the same song blaring from the radio. Transported back to a wonderful place in time we all used to be...the magic of music and memories...I know this because I am 60...I am one. Thank you for the brief trip back to a wonderful youth. Well done.

Don't want to burst it for you, but most of these videos have quite a bit of post production/pre-publishing work done to the audios. If you look at the profiles on an analyzer, this becomes pretty apparent. She's talented, but don't shout out "no auto tune" because it looks like a "random" event. Notice the crowd cuts out and we're just left with the music and her voice, that alone is evidence...

No matter though, he is giving her a platform to sing. 1.6 million views is pretty incredible. If she wanted to be in music she probably just opened a lot of doors for herself (hopefully). Lots of music producers watch You Tube videos looking for the next singer to make a star. Times have changed. No need to make a tape and send it to every record label in hopes of them taking an interest.

Apart from his astounding playing that just keeps an involuntary grin plastered across my face, one thing I love about these videos (and I've now watched a lot!) is the comments... Always so thankful, positive - loving, almost. If the world was made up of Dovydas watchers, I dare to think it'd be a much happier place. It's as if he brings the best out of everyone. Thank you for the joy you bring, Dovydas. Kudos. 👏

Don't you just love when something like this pop's onto you KZbin feed as it did mine last night? I watched it a number of times as it just blew me away. Never heard of either of these two yet as I was about to go to bed I went back and listened twice again as it was still on my mind. Now the following morning I had to come and see what the rest of the world had to say about it. Reminds me of few years ago when this- one of the coolest live performances i've ever seen- popped up. I've literally listened to it 100 times: kzbin.info/www/bejne/boHEaqtvm791qrs

Been following you for a while. I love it whenever you come across someone that's so talented like this. She has such a different and unique sound when she sings. And to be able to sing a journey song like that takes some real singing chops. I hope a lot of people look at this and that an agent picks her up because she is very talented singer. And of course you do a fantastic job like you always do playing live with the improvision that you use it's just amazing. Thank you for the entertainment! And thank Kayla for such an amazing performance also, because you just don't come across people that talented everyday.

Dovydas and Kayla: Two very gifted musicians, bringing a few minutes of joy in today's troubled world to all those who will listen to them perform so beautifully together. Dovydas, whether you're singing and playing the Blues on that harmonica, "Requiem" by Mozart, or a country song by Johnny Cash (that guitar solo from "Folsom Prison" was just incredible!), it's spine tingling. It almost brings a tear every time I experience one of your music videos, Dovydas. Surely, I'm among thousands around this planet who has this happen. Thank you., and thank you to whomever is video recording you these days.

I teared up. I'll tell you why. It is because I looked at the expressions on the audiences' faces. You could tell who was instantly transported back to high school. So was I. Graduated in 1975 makes me, to young folks, an old lady. But watching these young ones play and sing something from our "back in the day" warms my heart. Great job!! Wonderful talent.

@@tfriesen3866 well that is certainly not true. Do you see how young she is? She’s heard the song but why should she remember all the lyrics? I’ve heard it dozens of times but could never get up there and remember the lyrics much less sing it like she did!
@wordragon
@wordragon 2 жыл бұрын
@@tfriesen3866 -That means nothing. I was a teenager and loved this song. I would have to look up the lyrics as a singer whose song this isn't. Clearly, you are not a professional because if you were, you would know the catalogue of song lyrics you have to know is immense without the random popular song requested. The most important thing is that you performed the song with style and grace, which she did. The other thing to note is that she knows the song better than most people who actually know the words because she is emphasizing key notes and phrasing of the vocal nuances correctly and she is transposing it down properly. All things you obviously don't know anything about or you would have appreciated it enough to understand that specific knowledge trumps knowing the lyrics in this context. People will complain about anything is the takeaway from your immature comment.

This is play acting. They're acquainted, have practiced and she's faking having to refer to the lyrics. Two people just happening to know a song from 40 years ago, before they were born, and they're both well-practiced at it and have a ready-arrangement? They grew up watching Glee and want to pretend life is a stage show waiting to bust out. I'm not buying it.
