It's so good though, I find 'most' breakfast foods either 1. Boring 2. Dessert 3. Bloat me or 4. Lack carbs. Leftovers from last night, maybe at most grill some fish or chicken fresh, the best breakfast ever. So yummy and varied. (If the dinner has variety of course.) If there's something heavy / bloaty in there it's just my post work-out snack.

I am from France and I've never seen "beignets" (or "éclair vanille") for breakfast . It's definitely a dessert! But the "croissants" are very common! And the "chocolate croissants" are called "pain au chocolat" (the translation would be chocolate bread). We also eat brioche, drink hot chocolate and fruit juice... most of the time, breakfast are sweet!

mexican here 🇲🇽🙋‍♀️ born and raised ☺️ yes chilaquiles are huuugee. not commonly had tho. its more a thing you have when you go out for breakfast to a restaurant or something. they are typical in both sauces green and red.(i like green) can be topped with chicken, egg or beef. your preference. and everyone has different taste. so some people like the tortilla to become soft so they let it sit in the sauce for a while, others, like myself, like it crunchy so we make sure to pour the sauce right before we eat it :) (this is usually more possible when homemade tho) Where i live specifically (center of mexico) tamales are extremely common for breakfast. in fact they're only sold in the mornings . how ever i lived in cancun (south of mexico) for a while and i noticed that they're more commonly sold at night in that city. Where i live egg is extremely common for breakfast, rancheros, scrambled etc. and yes with sauce, and yessss we have coffee when we have sauce lol! i actually have eggs with green salsa and my lil coffee every morning lol, oh and one tortilla! sooo yummyy!!!! its alsooo VERRYYYY common for people to just have "pan dulce" (mexican style bread) and coffee for breakfast. i guess you could say thats an actual breakfast cuz its light and fast. the rest are more "brunch" options imo. so glad you liked it steph!!! was looking forward to this video since you announced it on ig lol!! lovedd loveedddd the video!!

I really like tamales but it's uncommon to find them where I live. One place, however, sold them in the mornings until they sold out and I would get so upset and wonder why they would sell so fast in the mornings. I had no idea it was a breakfast food!

I'm from the Northern border and had no idea Tamales are typical for breakfast, they are usually sold in the afternoon thru the night here, you eat them "recien salidos" as dinner and then keep some in the fridge and fry them in a little bit of oil in a comal the next day and have them for breakfast. But it's more of an occasional thing than anything else here. Also, yes, chilaquiles are sooo common here but for the weekend going with all the family to the fondita

I'm italian and we have many things in common as regards foods in general (we both have such a great variety and culture of food) and breakfast is quite the same, croissants, pain au chocolat or other typical Italian pastries with caffè espresso, coffee or cappuccino...or a fruit juice or tea. But "beignet"...well, is not the correct name and also that texture is not the real one...bignet is far from being like a donut 🤭 the dough is different and less thick and they're very light when you eat them. And you never have them for breakfast, same for eclairs. But in US they often do things their way and call them as italian or french or whatever food, while is not.

Yay so glad you enjoyed the English breakfast! Just so you know, an 'English breakfast' or 'Full English' is something we have as a treat at the weekend when we're hungover or wake up later and have more time to cook, rather than something we have every day. An everyday English breakfast is most likely cereal, porridge, toast with butter, jam or marmite, fruit & yoghurt, eggs on toast etc.. Tea is a must of course! Although many do prefer coffee. It's probably similar the to the typical US breakfast, although our cereals are a lot less sugary. Most people I know have light breakfasts and I don't know anyone who eats a Full English breakfast regularly, even my very traditional parents. When done well it is delicious though and very filling, you rarely need to eat again until dinner time!

Full English is pretty much reserved for the weekends 😂 I don't bother putting the beans on the plate, they go straight on the toast 😍 my British soul was so proud when you did that! Most brits will have toast, cereal or oats Mon-Fri. Love this video 💕
