I’m currently training to be a triathlete and hopefully can get a marathon in within the next year or two, and this has motivated me to work even harder. I’m sorry for what happened with you and Sarah, as well as everything else that has happened to you, just keep pushing, keep thanking god for everything he gives you for it is yours to receive and not to take, and keep being a true innovator in a society that has many posers.

Man idk wtf is up with the universe or whatever but you have no idea how much I needed to hear this. My wife actually cheated on, gaslighted, left me, and is trying to take everything ive worked for while running my name down the drain. Oh and to top of all that some of the people closest to me helped her hide it all. Like you I met her while I was in the military and we got married after I got out. She faked illnesses and said she couldnt work. So i saved and worked 60 to 90hrs a week so we could buy a house and have a 6 month emergency fund and prepare to have kids and lay the groundwork to raise them in better circumstances than we grew up in. But i guess that wasnt enough. Really sucks and to make matters worse I was a little b!tch about it ngl. So in stereotypical guy form I got back in shape and got ripped again (didnt buy a sports car though lol) and recently started running again (even my dog joins me). Its tough though Ive always liked lifting but hated running. Seeing you push through that marathon and admit to the heartache youve been dealing with and the extent of how much its affected you mentally yet you keep pushing is pretty damn motivating ngl. So thanks man and keep up the great work!

Props to your doctor for being candid with you that he didn't recommend the marathon to you. Especially for a big guy, the impact on your feet and joints is enormous. It's a huge commitment over a period of months to get ready for it. I absolutely admire you for doing a marathon, but man, give yourself a chance to get ready.

In regards to mental health, i have just gone through a rough 12 months also and it is important to keep pushing, keep taking each day at a time. It is like a rollercoaster and some days you have it, others you dont. Im glad you choose to speak to the audience about this, as there is a stigma around mental health and men talking about it. What you are doing is great and i fully stand by and support what you are educating people about. From the UK, all the best. Ill leave you with a japanese proverb from Ikigai 'Many small chops, fell a big tree....'

Amazing Austen . Very inspiring. It touched me at the end , when you passed Mile 20 and gave your perspective on life and the battles you’ve overcome in life and relationships , it choked me up. My friends and family are some of the most amazing human beings I’ve ever known but they all fight some sort of demons and depression as most normal people do throughout their lives . They have lost friends and family due to suicide, some even parents of children, some were children, some due to Military PTSD. I’ve even fought off demons and terrible thoughts but have always been able to battle through and do my best to inspire others. We preach family and love and just overall being there for each other. We do our best to motivate others and do everything we can to help others see goals and push them to not just dream but to achieve. Team Pineapple4life is a way of living and is about Ohana and will be a charity someday. My sons and I would love to come out to SoCal one day and to hang or do a challenge with you. They are my bestfriends. My Bestfriend of 40 years would love to bring his son out as well. Keep doing what you do, it’s not your job to motivate and inspire others, but you do it well and I thank you. FYI: I have a brother in law who has a charity called Winter of the Beards out of Michigan, Created due to a former soldier and friend who committed suicide. They raise money for soldiers and families. I have another friend who has created a company called Warrior staffing who help soldiers transitioning out find work before they even head back into normal life which takes a lot of stress of them and their families. The jobs are normally in Tech aspects of behind the scenes in television. Congratulations on finishing the marathon!!!
