I started with 6 in June of this year. I now have over 300!!!!!!! I love them so much. My boyfriend is so supportive of me being a "succulent Addict" he literally turned 1 of our spare rooms into a Garden Center!! I can not go to a store that sells succs and not buy some , never just 1. When I go to Home Depot, Lowes, or Walmart, I justify buying entire trays by saying they need to be rescued "look how sick they look" and my BF just goes along with it, they are amazing plants!!

I'm so jealous!!! LOL. Succulents are addictive and I had to closed the web pages today (4/16/2021) that I was almost so close to buying $500 worth (26 Korean succulents) but I closed them because I told myself months ago that I needed to pay off my $2000 credit card that I charged in late 2020 buying succulents. Hahaha at 8 minutes in watching your video at 5:00 this morning, I stopped went online and placed a succulent order! 🤣🤣🤣haha ITS CONTAGIOUS ☺️ and I'm mad because I had a dudleya in my cart already and I waited too long and now they are sold out! But that's okay because I did end up getting my variegated echeveria decora. I'm like you though I just ordered $400 worth of succulents over the past couple of weeks. I'm still waiting for my bulk tray of sempervivums but I should get those today. You have such a wide range of plants there! I always think about you and how many different varieties you have, I know it's near impossible to own every single succulent that there is but I think you're getting close LOL Liz I recently got my echeveria agavoides lipstick, of course I planted it when I got it I let it acclimate to the soil and then I gave it some water about 5 days later. It's still struggling and all the color left it. I have it under my grow lights. I took it out of the soil the other day just to check the roots and it seems fine. I think I'm wanting to ask you more about the color, why would all the color leave it if it's under the grow lights? Are they more of a weather-related color up plant? Rather than light?
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK3 жыл бұрын
I've observed that most agavoides lose or don't color up under the grow light. Lipstick loves being in full sun. I have some growing under my 50% shade cloth area and it went green. They need to be grown in a small pot and in full sun to color up and the color stays all year round.

It seams to me they easily succumb to root rot or drying compared to regular ones, I’ll appreciate your response so I can keep these expensive crested specimens alive for a long time.
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 ай бұрын
No different than non-crested plants except, they needed extra attention for cleaning and maintenance because bugs likes to hide in the fold and dry leaves. Air circulation, regular watering after soil dries up and fertilizing and cultivating soil(teasing) once a year in their growing season. Happy growing and have a great day.🥰
