Guys Vermont does not title cars that are over 15 years old. No car that i have bought on this channel had a title if it was over 15. Thats just how we do it here. No title required to own or register

the diesel far outweighs the gas though in the long run, this duramax gets better fuel mileage than an S10 and has way more capabilities. and as an owner of a diesel for almost 5 years now i can tell you they do NOT cost more to fix and maintain once you factor in the fuel savings and how long they last. not to mention 210k on them is literally nothing

The diesel would definitely be a profitable truck to flip and sell, but you would probably save a lot in fuel money if you kept it. We have a 2001 GMC Yukon and we've had some problems with that pushbutton 4WD. The less electronics the better. But honestly I think either truck would be great. If it were me, I would normally go with that 6.0. Especially, considering the fact that it has a long bed (at least it looked like one). But, fuel prices have started going up where we live so I would recommend the diesel. Keep up the great work and God bless - Everett

I owned a 2004 Silverado with a Duramax . It honestly was not a bad truck. However when I used it the way I needed to use a truck it didn't meet my requirements. It was also due for the injectors and the top end work and I did not have the money to repair that. You should find out if that is an LBZ or an LBY Duramax. I think what I miss most about that truck was the Allison Transmission. If I were you I would keep the Duramax and get rid of the gaser as you'll do better towing with the diesel than you will the gaser.

with a clean frame do the rockers right, buy a used drivers side back door. Not the cover up that you usually do for rust. the steel kits cheap and I am sure you can find a local welder to weld them in right then undercoat them and bedline the bottom of the doors and rocker. at that point decide to keep or sell it. Those hold value well .

I'd keep the Duramax. This is a pre-2007 diesel, so it does not have to deal with the DPF/DEF issues that the 2007+ diesel trucks do. That has inflated the value of the pre-2007 diesels. About the only issues with these HD GM 4WD's is front suspension problems with the IFS--ball joints, etc.

Kinda bragging, but I've been driving since 1975. I have never run out of gas and I even had a couple of cars the gas gauges didn't work. I've always heard it's not a good idea to run on less than 1/8 tank. Also, being a woman, I didn't like the idea of being stranded somewhere.

lol women do think ahead better! I run out of gas on a monthly basis it seems.....just tryin to save a few buck by going to a cheaper pump or zoning out. and you are right, running a car low on gas strains the fuel pump

I say sell the gasser...diesel will probably yield better mpg long term and since you're towing a lot it makes sense. Can't wait till the next vid!

Sell the gasser! The diesel is way better towing wise and gas mileage wise. Besides, you can't complain with better fuel mileage!
