I just bought one myself (black 6 speed car with wool interior) after looking at these for the last 3 years.... And honestly, it cost $10k less then a brand new Mazda 2 😂, my wife and family think im crazy, but i can't hear them or the other haters as i loft down the road in complete silence in my hand built vehicle made by a team of only 45 dedicated japanese craftsman 😂. Lifes too short to not own a 17foot long, near 3 tonne, V12 powered hand built japanese machineeee, happy sailing mate!

All true but the Toyota Century is still a very complicated vehicle. Little sensors can fail. Replacing the can be a nightmare. Spark plugs are replaced every 100k. It’s a big job.

Great video. I bought a 2012 Century in Adelaide 2 months ago and my p-plate son and I drove it to Sydney. What a wonderful experience. It’s so unique. Quiet and luxurious. Powerful but not in your face. Looking forward to many years of enjoyment. I am fascinated with the history behind this great car.

does the rego go off cylinders down there? Owning one in QLD would be a nightmare with rego prices based of cylinders from a time when emissions offset was based off where you owned the XR8 or XR6 so the V12 would be a nightmare with the goverment thinking you owned a lambo.
