Hello Bob. I learned the van life from you. 4 years now. Takes a bit to get use to live without all the junk. The freedom is amazing. I am on the east coast. Even my wife likes it. I am the same age as you. I only hope i can do for another 20 years. We are much more healthy. Thanks again.

$900 on the Amazon link, did not find additional coupon. Impressed to see LiFePO4. Personally, for a modest size van, I'd prefer 2 smaller units, one >100ow for 12v fridge and one equal or smaller for all else and to back up fridge when charging. I can't discreetly charge or lug around 80 lb. but it does deserve a good look at specs/durability for those who can manage this size. 2 yr warranty.

I agree. I have an Ecoflow Delta Max and it weighs (they say) 40 lbs. and it is pretty heavy so I can only imagine the weight of 80 lbs. For the price it is good if you can manage a way to set it up and never have to move it again.

I was offered the $300 coupon off of $1000 basically for my first one. Then the second one I bought about a month later they offered me Another coupon, which was actually a better deal than my first one, so I am thrilled. Plus I have my original two small ones from Energizer. Very happy with these units. I'm all good now.

I just got the Ecoflow Delta Max 2000 during Amazon Prime day. I paid $1,100 for it (It is currently $1,400). It has 2016watts output and weighs 46lbs. It is expandable, it has UPS capability. I will be using it as an UPS for my computer room at home in the winter, and it will go in my off road trailer in the summer. My trailer also has a 2,500watt dual fuel generator. Doing the math, I should be able to charge the Ecoflow from 25% to 100% in an hour. The generator uses about 3/4 of one gallon of fuel per hour, but that is at full output. The only electricity my trailer uses are LED lights and a mini fridge (stove and hot water are propane). I am confident that I will have all the electricity I need for about $4 per day running the generator for one hour per day. I always camp in a forest, so solar panels would be just throwing money away. I have a 1200watt sine inverter for my truck. I will probably set it up, so that it is charging the Ecoflow while I'm driving. That way I arrive with a full charge.

remember oem alternators can't take a big drain like that for long, and they are lower in amps, so install one that is built for a constant full on 1200 w load that will charge your unit like a house plug would. And also run your cabin fan (500w@max), spark plugs, headlights, stereo, rear defrogger, etc

To expand on why LiFePO4 is superior, look at the Jackery with standard LiIon battery being rated for 500 cycles of use whereas most LiFePO4 batteries are rated for 2000 - 3000 cycles of use. It's such a vast improvement in tech, it's like going from incandescent to LED bulbs.

I bought the Duracell unit at Costco a few years ago (not LifePo) and one of the quirks was that if the power goes out or you can only charge for a limited time, the unit would not charge any more than the level you reached. Luckily, it was a Costco purchase so I was able to return it (along with 40% of the other purchasers). So now, that is one of my first tests. Things we learn along the way that wouldn't even occur to us to check are so valuable to share with each other. Thank you for always being honest in your reviews even though I'm sure Bluetti is not going to love this one!

The 600w bluetti eb3 comes with a cigarette lighter charger. You can probably run lines off battery and make your own barrel plug. If they have an ac charger, just plug 300w inverter into lighter for faster charging time.

I don't understand why not just get 200 amp ( more wattage ) lithium battery(s) for @ $450, $ 100 for an mppt controller and a 2000 w inverter for @ $125. Not as pretty and perhaps not as convenient but cheaper. Plus, if one piece fails you just replace it rather than rip the unit apart for repairs.

Lots of people aren't comfortable doing that and this really is pretty decently priced even at 900. Your 675 dollar price goes up quite a bit once you include cabling, fuses, tools ect. If you don't need more than 2kwh of storage this is a decent option. Where these all in one units really fall down is if you need more capacity. It's why I'm in the process of planning a diy system for my rv.
@M.Campbell

Great if you have the space to do that and the know how. For a small SUV or car it is harder. My RAV4 really does not have space for that. And I don't use it every day, only for about four two week trips a year. I can barely get by with a Bluetti EB70 on the rear floor on one side and the 200 watt solar panel on the roof in the day while parked at the beach. I make it work. Cloudy days I find a 110 volt plug to use. Sometimes it is a campground with extension cord run to the car but I also get a hot shower while there. The rest of the time I boondock and find a park pavilion with a plug for free. Many city parks have that.

I’m new at this living little and cozy thing. I’m sure I’m going to love it and I can’t wait to get started and I am open to any advice and teaching moments I can muster up. I have recently acquired ( it’s not here yet) a Montana fifth wheel with a gooseneck hitch. My brother and his wife lived in it for a few years while they built their house. It is a 2006. It’s not brand new but it isn’t a lousey brand either. I can’t stand particle board and refuse to pay for anything that contains it. It swells when wet, period. Do not do particle board. I realize I have a lot to learn. Would like to go solar as much as possible, but I know nothing about generators. I would like advice about that… thanks to anyone who can help…with anything.

Buy this unit, some LiFePO4 100 amp hour batteries, something like a Bouge RV 40 amp charge controller that can charge 12, 24,36, or 48 volt systems, as many solar panels as you can afford - up to 2400 watts, charge up your battery bank, and run your battery bank directly into the solar charge controller port of the Energizer. You could buy this unit and 4 LiFePO4 for around $2000 right now and have 7 kilowatt hours. A 48 v configuration would take 2400w. You just run 48 volts into the Energizer charge controller and it takes however many amps it wants to. If it's 15, you'll get 720 Watts or so coming in as you need it.

What will run a rooftop AC. Seems to me that's more important than heat. I have lived without heat. Don't get me wrong it hurts but it's doable. However heat can kill a person. It's more than just uncomfortable it's deadly. What will run your AC?

Seeing prices of Power Stations drop reminds me of Moore’s Law (Gordon Moore was co-founder of Intel). The “law” claims that we can expect the speed and capability of our computers to increase every two years because of this, yet we will pay less for them.” I believe this applies to all electronics especially within the last 5 years. 4-5 years ago Jackery was the leader for early adopters. Not so much now. I feel We will see lower prices and/or improved specifications yet with power stations. There will come a point when the prices will reach the final bottom due to material & labor costs but at that point specs will continue to rise. All of this is just the opinion of a 75 year old guy (me) with 55 years experience in the pro audio world. I tried to buy the Energizer but it had only $99.00 coupons. I will wait for the AC200 to drop further. I want the 30 amp outlet too.

Update 1:54 PM edt. Apparently Amazon tracks my shopping and records products I visit. I visited the Energizer page per Bob’s link. I didn’t buy because the $300 discount wasn’t there. I stated in above post the Blueitti 200 is on sale for $1,198. I did not buy. I want a Blueitti AC 200 MAX with 30 amp outlet. I went to that page on Amazon. It’s on sale for $1,545. Still more than I wanted to pay. I left then came back and Bluetti placed a $350.00 coupon to be applied at checkout. I bought an AC200 MAX for $1,199 before tax. That’s a deal. I bought it!

Are people being shown different prices based on factors that aren't obvious to me? A number of people have stated in the comments that they bought this unit on Amazon for the ~$700 price, but I haven't been offered that price. I was only offered that $99 coupon as a discount. If someone could tell me how to get that lower price I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks for all the great work you do, Bob!
