Have you tried Aramith's Ball Cleaner and Ball Restorer. They are usually a great place to start. Hope that helps 👍

Well that would depend entirely on what balls they use on the pub table, some pubs have Aramith balls which are phenolic resin which is considered far superior to the poly resin such as with this set. Other pubs will indeed use cheap poly resin balls which would compare directly to this GoSports set for sure. What balls do you recommend on a budget

It depends on how tight the budget is!! At $30 these are great and probably as good as anything you'll find at this price. Next step up is Aramith Continental balls at $63 and are phenolic resin, which is a big upgrade. Basically, phenolic resin is better if the budget allows. You'll struggle to match (let alone beat) either of the two Aramith sets listed above within their price brackets.
