Yep that how I do it and use a Rug Doctor Portable as have the motor brush, so vibrates the dirt out like the drill would. I also use the drill carpet brush on first pass. I run passes till water in dirty tank is pretty much clear

Now I’ll be the first to admit that my car is not always spotless, but I can’t imagine letting it get to the point of having roaches. Yes, children are messy, but this is beyond children being messy (unless the kids were smoking and throwing the butts in the floor of the car 🤣). Most likely it was a bunch of toddlers/young kids due to the discarded chicken nuggets in the back of the car. I used a spray adhesive to reattach those fabric door panels. Used a putty knife to shove all fabrics in the car back under all the plastic panels. My rear wheel wells have rusted away as well. Love my 2003 Escape and will drive it into the ground. Almost 200k so far. Great job on this one! Love seeing how you can take them apart.

April Enriquez I work in a body shop n I had one car that had the smell of something that died in it. Turned out it was a package of sausage that they bought n forgot about. Then they had a wreck n we had to fix it. When I went to inspect it, I smelled that dead animal smell n tore it apart n found that. Unfortunately, it had to stay in there because we are not allowed to throw anything away. We can box it all but just can’t throw anything away. It was disgusting. Had another car full of roaches. Had another car way worse than that w trash n food n clothes n crap (by crap I mean like a jumble of misc stuff). From floor to ceiling side to side, front passenger seat to cargo area of the SUV. It was BAD!
