The lionfish in the video is a zebra lionfish different to a fuzzy dwarf lionfish, it is still a dwarf lionfish and is not an invasive species, that is the Volitan lionfish. Lionfish aren't actually true ambush predators, they can sit and wait but most often they will actively chase down their prey and trap it with their large pectoral fins and will use "vacuum feeding" where they will suction their prey into their mouth, scorpionfish and toadfish are true ambush predators, especially scorpionfish since they will not chase down their prey and will wait until their prey comes within striking distance. Great video.

I once saw a customer lions fish in a fish store. It was pretty big... about 9 or 10 inshes across. They wanted to show me the feeding..... crazy! I want one but wouldnt be able to take care of him the way he would need to be. Lion fish are cool af. Two thumbs up from me!

Since it's a Lionfish you should name it Simba! I also have a little story. When I was growing up my neighbors had a few different fish tanks. The one tank had a Puffer and Lionfish together along with a cleaner shrimp and a few misc. fish. The Lionfish ended up stinging the Puffer on accident so the Puffer imploded and killed the Lionfish, in which the Lionfish stung harder and killed the Puffer 😢 They were so cool to watch swim around.

If you get an octopus you better make sure your aquarium is completely sealed. Because they will get out. I had a buddy who had 1 in a 300 gallon tank and it got out 3 times and he found it sliding across his floor.😂😂

I was trying to get a bunch of citrus fruit trees for my forever garden and had a really hard time finding sites that could ship their trees to georgia... eventually i found one. Georgia approved citrus fruit trees are not cheap!
