He had a pretty angry face on and was wearing a military surplus trenchcoat - not the friendliest looking guy but I reckon he went all out on the opportunity to freak people out with his cool robo arm. He was definitely the talk of the night, every time someone came back to the table it was "did you see that guy with the robotic arm at the bar!?" yeah, in medical coding they apply specific codes for each "condition" or thing you saw the doctor for, including what part of the body it happens to be. Example: left wrist fracture 56488, obviously arbitrary and not exactly how it would appear, since they typically use the scientific/anatomical terminology to refer to an injury or other condition, e.g., distal, proximal, etc. In medical billing, insurance claims are approved or denied depending on what is covered and if the conditions are coded correctly -- some claims may simply need to be recoded, as this is extraordinarily specific to the condition. Oh, lastly, this includes any procedures a patient undergoes, such as surgery, lab, scans, standard visit, etc. Source: worked briefly in medical billing and studied anatomy in college for psychology
