M8, as a fellow worn out, cynical and hard bitten old landscaper in his 50's I salute you. Your take on social media is spot on!

Cheers Andrew I seem to care less and less these days and it comes across well lol 👍🏴

Looks like you’re using GFRC premix, this is for thin sections - 18-30mm thick. If clients want white or coloured uniform finish you could cast with standard concrete and finish with micro cement. Would look exactly the same :/

That sounds like a much better idea 💡 and actually quite agree with too as I had seen that idea on a video before and it would of saved a lot of money too 👍🏴

You had mentioned a couple of months ago about setting up a paid subscription to your channel, and you would help and advise subscribers with they're own projects. Are you still going to do this?

Why not use traditional cement for the legs then use this stuff just for counter top?
@tidybrickslandscaping2 ай бұрын
The legs were supposed to be visible so it all looked as in situ but didn’t end up that way apparently mmm dunno not in charge

As it been my first time working with this stuff yeh maybe not sure it had to be wetter but I’ll never know as I’d never use it I’d prefer concrete 👍🏴

I use "GFRC" everyweek, its my profession. I am happy to talk to you about it on the phone, but what I do is a world away from this. I have offered to help once before on a previous video and my offer still stands. This doesnt represent gfrc too great because whoever they bought the materials from (im guessing concrete lab) poorly advised them on mixing the mix they use in a barrel mixer for a multitude of reasons, same for using steel with fine aggregate gfrc mixes; theres a lot more shrinkage with these type of mixes because of the aggregate size and cement content. And I really hope theres a gap between that egg and the concrete because if not, its going to crack at some point. All the best Gabriel

Sorry I would rather have concrete over that not just because of price but the finished product just looks a bit life less with no stones or anything showing. You could fiber reinforce the concrete as though just get some chop strand mat and chop it up, throw it in the mix job done
