I can eat almost anything with this egg recipe 🥚, and here's how to make it 💗

Seriously this eggs are irresistible ❤️
[ Mayak Eggs (Mayak Gyeran)(Korean Marinated Eggs) (마약계란) ]
--------------------- INGREDIENTS ---------------------
🥚 1 Sachet of Anchovy Powder
🥚 250ml Water
🥚 200ml Soy Sauce
🥚 100g White Sugar
🥚 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
🥚 1 Tbsp Sesame Seed
🥚 1 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
🥚 1/2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
🥚 2 Dash of White Pepper
🥚 1/2 Chopped White Onion
🥚 2 Chopped Red Chili
🥚 3 Chopped Green Chili
🥚 8 Eggs
🥚 1 Tbsp Salt
🥚 1 Tbsp Vinegar
--------------------- INSTRUCTIONS -------------------
1. Chop Onion, Red Chili, Green Chili, Garlic
2. Add Anchovy powder, water, sugar, soy sauce, onion, garlic, red & green chili in a pot in medium heat, stir well until the sugar dissolves and bring to boil.
3. Turn off heat, add sesame oil, sesame seed, lemon juice & white pepper, mix well then set aside to let the sauce cool down.
4. Bring a pot of water to boil (enough amount to cover all the eggs)
5. Add salt, white vinegar in the boiling water.
6. Gently drop the eggs into the pot, then boil for 8 minutes.
7. After the 1st minute, gently stir the eggs in order to set the yolk in the center for a minute, then let it boil.
8. Remove the eggs, and drop into a bowl of ice water immediately to cool the eggs down (preventing the eggs to continue cooking).
9. Gently crack and remove the egg shells.
10. Place the eggs into a maison jar or container.
11. Pour in the marinate sauce into the jar and let it marinate for at least 3 hours best overnight
12. Serve it with white rice and top with seaweed.

Yumm! How many days can I keep it in the fridge?

Make sure to finish within 5 days to make sure it’s fresh ☺️ My recipe is slightly different as I cook and boil the marinating sauce. This may allow you to keep longer if store in fridge. However I’d advise to finish within 5 days to be safe 😉
