Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today we FINALLY GET THE MOST ELUSIVE transformation ability in the game right now!
The is a brand new playstyle in Season 8 that transforms Cat Form into Serpent Form and transforms many of your traditional cat abilities into nature/poison variants with new synergies with rogue poisons. We nailed the perfect build for this spec with some good decision making and a lot of luck during the draft phase and after a 16 hour grind to obtain Serpent Form, we can finally play the game.

I spent the last day and a half spamming heroics and I have to say I've only seen one or two serpent builds but they always performed pretty good. It'd still pretty early on and it's still not pushing past builds like disembowle builds but it definitely looks to be better then the few gunslinger builds I've seen. I think with itemization it could definitely be viable excited to see what u do with it!

Cat is heavily dependent on the Tigers Fury energy regen for aoe, at least in the wrath era it was and this current version is mostly based on it iirc.

Oh, my big theory crafting brain just went into Overdrive here. Does Stormstrike still give an increase to nature damage taken on Ascension? If so, your Serpent Venom and Puncture abilities can be snapshotted. Serpent Strike's buff sounds like Vile Poisons in the Assassination tree. All this leads me to Stacking Hit Rating and Haste, getting energy regeneration talents like Focused Attacks in Assassination, Stormstrike (if useable in cat), and just kind of keeping dots while landing as many auto attacks as possible and proccing as many poisons as possible. Maybe i'll play this season.

GZ that you got the Serpent Form, but the reason for many of us assuming that you have to be in the proper leveling bracket comes down to what dutch said in the qna if wfe are to combat dng/bg spamming and all he said to that was that many WFE can only be obtained if you have the correct level. In that case, dng wfe obtaining outside of the the leveling range could be a bug since they prob have the lowest drop chance there is and only give you a decent drop chance if you have the correct level.

As a fun little side note from someone else having Serpent Form Mangle increases the damage of the transformed Rip and Rake. Hunger for Blood also kinda works but only with Rake. I look forward to how you build it.
