Ya know, we all have great influences. In the early 80's it was Frankie Banali and Neil Peart for me. I just wanted to play like them. I wanted to do everything like my heroes. Looking back, it was good direction. Frankie Banali set the mold for the entire hair metal scene. Super solid player, and always reliable. He set the mold for Johnny Dee and guys that are just super straight and professional and super solid. Frankie is under rated. He is to modern rock, what Ginger Baker is to classic rock.
