We always get these weak ass arguments about how "sex and marriage arent comparable, youre being disingenous". You're right, Marriage is FAR MORE serious considering its a lifelong commitment. SO men wanting to wait for marriage makes far more sense then women wanting to wait for sex since marriage is such serious business. And yet derrick claims men dont have the right to ask a woman to wait for something so serious of a decision, but women should have the right to demand their partners to wait sex. Lol some of yall are making my point and you dont even realize it. Our original video got removed from FB & youtube so we decided to one large deep dive into the man himself. One big video coming out this week, look out for it around Thursday or friday!

I'm putting my comment here too and I hope you guys see it. The problem with what he says is that, he knows how to speak to the FEELINGS of the women he addresses. The fact that he does that gives him the ability to be inconsistent in his own words and unaccountable. Much like his audience. If they do what he said before and it goes bad. He can't be blamed. Because, what he said yesterday may not be what he would say today. The, "I'm still growing and learning" excuse. He's no teacher or coach for dating. Dating is based around feelings and feelings sway like leaves in the wind.

Aba & Preach I agree that at times Derrick Jaxn is fugazi.There’s a difference though between a woman wanting to save herself for marriage and a guy taking a decade to propose to a girl who’s been wanting to get married.

@@a100percentReal Even if your advice is that if he takes too long to marry you then you shouldn't waste your time? That said, some people claim he is married and technically he could still give advice anyway, it would just be hypocritical and inconsistent to give that advice but not have their partner follow it too... And if he didn't encourage them to do the same, that might show that he is selfish and possibly manipulative and maybe he's not the best guy to listen to... I'm talking hypothetically of course, I don't know much about this particular person... But yeah, that would be my reasoning... I dunno, I find it best not to take any one person too seriously. A lot of the time they won't be totally right about everything, just use them to provoke reflection and advance your understanding from multiple sources (and not just the ones you agree with). It's highly unlikely that one person will have all the answers.

@@namekman01 It is not the exact definition, I was being descriptive his tendencies as shown in the video. But narcissists tend to have grand views of themselves to the point that calling them out on their wrong doing or hypocrisy can really make them upset due to their obsession with the personal/public image they draw of themselves - and that is ASSUMING that they actually decide to address the points that challenge them and not skirt it or avoid it all together. They may also tell lie after lie about themselves. Of course its not as simple as that, but I don't want to write a wall of text.

@@ThingsILikke What the actual fuck, getting some real fendom vibes from that comment, It works both ways, if he's not ready but you are, COMMUNICATE, dont give an ultimatum, thats just shallow as fuck morally. You are literally saying "Make a lifetime commitment to me within a reasonable time frame to MY liking or else"....if i were him i'd take the or else without a second thought, ultimately wasting BOTH our times, and effectively smacking that BS ultimatum back to sender, no return adress
@ThingsILikke
@ThingsILikke 4 жыл бұрын
@@DeathWish-DJ Ultimatums are a last resort, after prior attempts at communication have led nowhere. And if a woman gave you one and you said no marriage, then she got the answer she needed and you are fine with her moving on and seeing other people that have the same goal of marriage that she does. Looks like it would work perfectly. Not every girl is fine being in a dead end relationship with no marriage in sight. If she wanted that and you were stalling and giving her the run around, why does she owe it to you to waste her life on YOUR schedule? Sounds like you just want to avoid the pain of taking a risk on marriage.
@DeathWish-DJ
@DeathWish-DJ 4 жыл бұрын
@@ThingsILikke When marriage is more or less a disservice to men, its understandable why many of us would be hesitant, but if he's just giving you the run around you have the option to simply leave, No ultimatums needed. Ultimatums are ONLY effective when you have some sort of leverage over the other (such as a boss). In a relationship...not so much, thats why i said COMMUNICATE, try to ease his concerns if you're 100% for marriage and he's giving it LEGIT thought (not the run around guys, not all of us do it) Express yourself, try to understand from not only your point of view but also his. Everytime i hear marriage brought up, theres always IMMENSE pressure on the man to give HER the wedding SHE wants while he has little to NO say in the matter. Instead of being able to communicate this to the one he is giving thought about marriage, she slaps him with an ultimatum and or labelling him the bad guy, often times resulting in either 1 the guy giving in and settling into a marriage he was not yet ready for, which can bring about feelings of entrapment and eventually, loss of interest. While you may be ESSTATIC, the man would be suffering. Or he simply leaves and has his name tarnished in the process. Marriage in this day and age is solely FOR WOMEN. That being said, work on communication and stop fucking around with guys that give you the "ohhh i just need more time" without ever expressing a single concern. If a guy is giving it serious consideration, he will express these concerns to you when you bring up the topic of marriage.
@ThingsILikke
@ThingsILikke 4 жыл бұрын
@@DeathWish-DJ Dude, are you not aware that traditionally the woman's dad pays for the wedding? My dad even paid for my sisters AND my brother's weddings. And I do not have this problem of wasting time with guys at all. I have known several people that were in relationships like this and the woman was through with the guy wasting her time and she said "If you have dated me for two years and have no interest in marrying me, then I do not think you want to marry me, bye bye." A girl does not need to wait around for a guy thats bringing her down and getting on her nerves and costing her time and energy that she would better use making money, building her career and friendships, starting a family. Some girls are fine with indecisive and scared men, but some of us take a lot of decisive action and take risk because we know life is short. Don't need to waste your patience, you are not supposed to count on someone changing you need to take people as they come. A lot of women have shitty husbands and now that women make more money they do not need to settle or seek a man as an escape from a bad home life.

Lol my relationship is like Preach's. I've been with my fiance for 15 years and he just proposed. We're getting married in October 2020, our sixteenth year together. He wasn't ready even though I was since we were twenty four. The only thing I asked after like 6 years together was if he planned on marriage. I don't really care about marriage, the only thing I want is kids. He doesn't want to have kids unless he's married. So I had to know if we wanted the same things in life or it wouldn't work. But after he said he wants to get married to me someday and have kids, I was good. My family told me top give him ultimatums that if he doesn't marry me soon then I'm going to leave. I told them there's no way in hell I'm doing that. That just leads to resentment or a break up. And i want him to marry me because he wants to not because he was forced to. I never hounded him about it or ask about it. And last year he took me to Greece and proposed in Santorini. And it was the best because I completely did not expect it. I was so blind sided and could believe it. Now we're both ready and having fun planning our wedding. So It worked out for us

Most people give you advice from their own relationships. Even if people make good decision for themselves and are smart with their own relationships it doesn’t necessarily make it the right decision for you. You can take all the advice you can’t, but one person isn’t gonna have the ultimate knowledge for everyone. At the end of the day we have to decide what’s right for ourselves.

Let’s clear up a couple things: 1. Juelz Santana cheated on Kimbella MAAAAAD times and only put a ring on when he was about to go away for a gun charge. Where was this ring when he was at the height of Dipset? I’m sure she was around. Ladies need to stop letting themselves be someone’s safety net after their careers are are over. 2. Jealousy is a poison that has the opposite effect than intended. The person that you’re jealous of almost never knows the depth of how said jealousy hurts you and often will look at you like you crazy because you are jealous so you gonna lose all the way around so please don’t use this tactic. 3. Derrick Jackson is a simp that tries to rationalize female subscriptions at the expense of men by pandering. The irony is women respond best to success, knowledge of self worth and the ability of a man to say no to them respectfully. He fails female shit testing over and over. The more you pander is the more you are seen as weak and bit by bit your image in their eyes deteriorates. It is these said same women that will form up like Voltron and laugh him out of town when he figures out the real. ✊🏿

But... These "thoughtful things" are not complicated or deep whatsoever. I'm 41 now and there's NOTHING he's ever said that I didn't already say or think when I was 16 and 17. However, by 18 I already realized how un-unique those things were. How did I realize that? Because every other one of my peers knew and said the same shit. Some of them even tried to present it in this Derrick Jaxn front. And they were always called out on it. We called it, "surface level intelligence". You barely break the surface but yet you try and tread in the deep. Niggas end up drowning. That's why Derrick ain't said nothing new. Saying that what he saays is thoughtful is really nothing. Hallmark cards are thoughtful.

Scrapy G yeah it’s definitely tough making the decision to leave when you really care about someone, but ultimately if you want different things you have to make the call. I get what you’re saying about guys wanting to wait longer about making the right decision, but I also think women get attached way faster and make their mind up about people quicker. It seems like that. As far as the sex.. I get that too but as far as my experience goes it’s better to wait if you want to send the signal to the guy that you’re looking for something more serious. Even though I might wanna do it too, haha. But you have to give up something more pleasing in the short term for a better future in the long run with that person.
