I caught my favourite food and then cooked it over the fire at the bushcraft woodland camp. My dog Amber joined me and she even got a little taste of daddy's favourite food! My AmStaf is the same. I like the idea of a windbreak, maybe a wattle wall that can be moved or removed for need. You should recruit the scouts to build em, but I can't see the adults behind them wanting to! Wattle walls w thru spikes to set them up. If you made a bunch they could also serve as a base for debris shelters as well as the windbreaks.

it's this time of the year again... we catch calamari in Greece when the weather gets cold, we just need to fish where the waters are relatively deep, we fish them the exact same way at night, and we even cook'em the same way [not only of course...] and btw... the ink is very nutritious... nice video...

My favorite smell in the woods, second is wood smoke. When i take a deep smell of good fat wood a joyful calmness washes over my body and i cant explain it.

about Amber... I like the ''discipline'' lessons... human food is not always good for dogs... but in dogs' eyes we're not a different species, we're just members of the same pack, and sharing food is what keeps us together, you can give her some dog food to eat next to you at the same time, and when you want to share a bit of what you eat with her... well, she'll take it as a ''special treat'' and a form of ''pack bonding''.... she'll love it and she'll show it... you can do it after she eats all of her food about the build now... try to build a frame where the parachute will sit... the size of the parachute will give the dimensions... the parachute will be fitted and unfitted at the start and the end of the season, that way it will last for longer, and the frame will bear the weather better... the old parachute can be placed by the teams when they come, to the side the wind blows as a wall... as an exercise, and a teamwork training, and they'll also take it down at the end... it will do them well, and give them a sense of bonding with the place and achievement of their own... like setting up a tent!... it will also keep it from the weather... That's my input... a nice video again...

Fatwood? WTH is fat wood? Fat wood. Skinny wood. Burn, burn, burn. Sorry, couldn't help myself. Never heard the term until I started watching y'all from across the pond. Here, in my part of the world, it's plain lighter or lighter pine.

that's the traditional way [fatwood] you can make it by yourself by dunking it into melted paraffine [or wax, bee wax is the best ] and letting it sip as much as possible, use thin pieces of wood to help it penetrate better, just make sure they're bone dry, and heating them first by a fire helps!...

Dog food is a Myth , or a lie . Dogs or wolves would eat real meat in the wild , and need small amounts of salt , just like all mammals ,in order to survive . It is ture that certain foods are bad for dogs like chocolate , but most foods are good for dogs .
