The economy crashed in Chester when manufacturing and ship building ended. 36% poverty in 2020 for Chester residents. A very high rate. Even infrastructure upgrades are over looked in Chester, evident in the 1960s power lines and abandoned buildings left to crumble. Sad. One of the older neighborhoods in America with a proud history.

I'll be back sometime in October. A good buddy of mine from the 80s is a writer and I pretty much had a booking me my whole life but I'm not a writer, musician so we're going to sit down and Hammer out an outline for a book and I'll probably be commuting between Sedona and Philly until the end of the year I will get in touch with you when I get there and we'll sit down for a talk. You really need to start interviewing people that I've gotten out of there but for the life of me I don't think I would know how to get out of what they're going through now makes our time out there seem pretty easy huh nothing was chewing apart my body

Hi Jeff Thanx for the tour. Actually, Chester looks half way decent. Certainly no worse than most towns in the Rust Belt. Perhaps a little gentrification can alter things there. But not too much as nobody wants to displace poor working people.

I observe that quite a few of your interview subjects present with swollen hands & fingers. You have seen this for sure. Given your interest in getting info on the impact that xylazine is having on users of street drugs, it may be useful to try to determine if there is an association of such swelling with the apparently increasing frequencies (and concentrations) of xylazine in street drugs. For example: Have users who have been doing street drugs before the advent of xylazine noticed such hand-swelling on themselves or others during their use in pre--xylanzine period ?

It’s called cellulitis. It’s a bacterial infection that causes hands to swell.
