No it is not . I lost my daughter nearly seven years ago and other than in the first couple of months , I cannot cry . I lost my close cousin , an uncle and a very close friend over the last year . Still no tears . It is horrible . But I was lucky as mine died of illness in a hospital bed with me there beside her .

'I was dragged away from her, I was not allowed to touch my own daughter, I was not allowed to hold her hand and just let her know I was there.' Those particular words hit me. If her daughter is in heaven and sees her mother proud told hold unforgiveness, her daughter is probably very sad that her mother will choose to go to hell instead of reuniting with her daughter in heaven. Unforgiveness is murder through choices of the heart. Jesus died a spotless man to propitiate your sin. How can you not forgive another person and think grace is still for you? Take her out of school. You live in a country where this is ok. Your country is vile & the majority of the western world does not live like this. America is the 36th most dangerous country in a big world. So many beautiful places to live, America is a dump. Of course you can be hurt anywhere, but it's more likely in America, a country where no one cares that a child can be shot at school.

This is one strong mother! This happened local to me and I was an acquaintance of this family and helped looked for Maddy that day when they thought she ran from the school and may have been hiding somewhere. Not sure if many know this but this family was not told about Maddy until almost 11 pm that night! How did they not find her in the school? So many questions still remain. I just bawled my eyes out, my daughter was the same age as Maddy at the time and it is absolutely heartbreaking. Maddy is watching over you Momma! We all ❤ you and Maddy!

I’m sure this woman is so crushed, so sick to her stomach that her baby is dead. She hates the sin. I think in time she will separate the hate for what he did to her child, her family, her life. This is raw right now. I cannot fathom what she is going thru. I’m sure her hate is at the whole situation. How can she separate the hate right now? Not possible. Now wait just a FREAKING MINUTE! When my parents passed away we met at the funeral home. All siblings were asked if any of us wanted to identify their bodies; if not the funeral home would use their drivers license for identification purposes. I stood right up immediately! I had a drive in me! I wanted my last conversation with them. My sister and brother declined. I was determined to have that last conversation with the ones who gave me life! HELLO, why was this mother not allowed to hold her child for the last time? I had a conversation with both of my parents and hugged them, cried with them, until my husband pulled me off of their bodies. THIS MOTHER SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALLOWED THAT LAST MOMENT WITH HER CHILD! Shame on YOU who did not give this grieving mother her last moment with her child 🤬🤯‼️‼️ Those moments I had with my parents cold lifeless bodies will give me love for a lifetime ❤❤ I said the last goodbye and HAD the last hug 🤗❤

There was no makeup. Her child was in a morgue, not a funeral home. It was a gun shot. There are things that no family should see. My late bro in law was hit by a train. No one in the family was allowed to see him until the funeral home “fixed” the left side of his head. Seeing how he looked, the damage was obviously extensive. We could be thankful that the damaged side was toward the back of the casket. I pray this family had that.

I initially thought that it was best that the mother wasn't allowed to be w/her daughter but your comments changed my mind. The authorities could have explained to her that they meant no disrespect but it wasn't something a loved one should have as their final memory and maybe suggest that she remained covered so her mother could still be w/her to hug her and say goodbye. It was bad enough they waited an hour at a shooting incident for any news about their child only to hear only their name being called out over a speaker to respond to a location. Like "What on Earth is happening?" I hope the killer's parents didn't get bailed out. They're a flight risk after not appearing for their arraignment and trying to hide from the law. Their attorneys were crying foul that they didn't know about the arraignment but fell short explaining how their clients didn't know they can't try to hide from the law. I'm sorry for your terrible loss. I think it takes so much courage to say your final goodbye to someone you love. I don't know if I'd have the strength to go though the most unbearable pain. I'm grateful you weren't alone and that you had your husband there to support you. 🌺🌹❤

@@elijahtrent21 You might be right. But people really feel forgiveness of themselves is paramount and the most powerful. I think when a brutal crime occurs, trying to forgive someone else forces you to think of the perp which can be unbearable. You can learn and choose a different way of life without anger and not give a second thought about the perpetrator to even wonder if you forgive them or not. It's not about the perpetrator. It's about finding tools to enjoy as stress free of a life as possible regardless of what the perp did, how they feel, and if they've changed or not. Hopefully that works for people and is not just a band-aid approach.

It's such a helpless feeling listening to so much pain, grief and loss. I so wish this was the last victim impact statements we will hear from the victims of school shootings in the US😢😢💙💙

This is way too painful to watch. I don’t know being a mom myself that is honestly one of my biggest fears I have my daughter is out of high school now and in college and still I still have these type of fears. The world is just so damn cold. I literally can’t take a deep breath comfortably and so she’s home where I know she’s safe good Lord give this poor woman strength heal her heart and soul show her that her daughter is watching all her from heaven Amen 🙏

Shes chosing not to forgive his choices...wise words. She IS a true survivor, as a mother never should have to face the loss of a child under the tragic circumstances of unforgivable choices another human made.

A parent's worst nightmare has become her reality. To have your precious child killed intentionally, randomly and for no reason, happy and alive one moment, gone the next. - she articulated it all extremely well. Love and prayers for this mom.

Every parent's worst nightmare. I'm a father of a two-month-old child. I cannot imagine the pain she's going through as a mother. Put yourself in her shoes and see how it feels to lose your child to violence. This is gut-wrenching.

This is such a sad situation. I would not wish this kind of trauma on anyone! I just don’t understand why this young man did what he did didn’t anyone see he was troubled couldn’t somebody had got to him gave him some help before he did this?

I Googled Oxford shooting and read through the account and could not believe it when the shooter’s mother told him you have to learn not to get caught after his father had bought him the gun. It also said the shooter enjoyed torturing baby birds.

I hope that poor grieving woman discovers that forgiving someone who has done something so despicable would not mean he won’t be held accountable... here .. and in the hereafter.. But it will allow her to drop the massive overwhelming burden 😢😢💙🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I can't blame Mrs. Baldwin for not forgiving this waste of space; her daughter Madisyn is dead, killed in a senseless school shooting, and ANY motive that he can give won't even be close to a good enough reason.

IN MY VIEW The problem with unforgiveness is it takes root and makes a person sick. The person becomes bitter and peace won't come near you.
