For Coins I would definetly get inspired by the chinese coins with quadratic holes in the middle. This does not only reduce material costs, it also adds the bemefit of beeing able to thread them onto a string for easy carriage. Also if you make the holes different sizes it majes it way easier for blind people to distinguish inbetween the different coins. Furthermore, I would extend the range of coins to, like with the Euro, include one and two dollar coins, instead of having bills for these, just because I fel like coins are more usefull for these

For money, the second-most important thing is being able to easily tell what denomination it is. People who are completely blind need some way of knowing whether they're getting the right amount of change at the supermarket. So if we're keeping paper money in the new money system, I hope that accessibility is taken into consideration. (The most important thing is being hard to counterfeit.)

If you have an android, you can use an app like shortcut maker that does the same thing. If you have a Samsung, (Still Android) the Theme Park app is great and actually changes the app icon for your entire phone. I hope this helps.
