Honestly, what I'd say is really awesome is that the Terran opponent asked for your advice on how to deal with it and you actually helped him instead of mocking him or blowing him off. Well played man.

Here's something special about Marc (uThermal) that we might not notice: he always fills in the early game with some engaging conversation. We're not bored just because there's no action

An absolute legend. Top tier entertainment full stop. Not out of SC2 content creators. Simply overall, this is some of the best gaming content on all of KZbin. Thank you Thermy for your consistency and uplifting demeanor always (and your pro gamer moves) - sincerely a non StarCraft player who appreciates awesome original content

The best part is how Marc is just so happy how he has learned so much. He sees the resources lost and you can see the light above his head for ideas. You can tell see sees the room for growth, and has ideas he will pop out later. Good job Thermal we all love the series.

@Digital_Goose2 жыл бұрын
Loving this and the GtGM series. Blue flame pays off in run by's alone, if the game goes the distance. Ps. Bring some Ravens over to your TvT for the Ghosts series! Just no auto turrets. They'd let you counter the Ghost counters, and would make for some super creative plays. ♥️
@MrTommybomby2 жыл бұрын
I love what you are doing! great commentary and fun play style. I always root for you in the tournaments. I was watching your second game and I thought: What if you sprinkled in more armor shred against queens and lings? Maybe disables and anti-armor will help the survivability of the turrets and the damage output of the hellions. I enjoy these videos a tremendous amount.
@MrTommybomby2 жыл бұрын
As i continued to watch the second game you did everything I suggested above. I guess I should have waited to comment. I was just excited to say hi and I appreciate your work.

A+ for good sportsmanlike conduct.
@Maxvla2 жыл бұрын
Super glad to see you using the ravens as raiding units again! You talked about using the ravens more in early game, but think about what you were saying with the zerg just remaking drones. If you fly ravens in ones and twos you will probably kill a good number of workers, but you will have lost that energy to do real damage later, and your opponent just remakes the workers. Massing enough ravens to fly in, take out a base and retreat is better than slowing their growth because you'll never actually cause a setback killing some workers here and there. Still would like to see that first expansion as a planetary, to ward off stuff like early stalker pushes, but you are doing well with your style now. You are really getting into the feel of this build. Also, I could be wrong but I think in your first battle with the broodlords, you hadn't completed building armor or building attack range upgrades, hence the difference in outcomes.

the thing about Ravens is that every bit of damage they do is with energy so they can really impact the resource aspect of the game, you get so much for your money when it works.

I wonder if ravens would be a good complement for Ghosts to Grandmaster latter phases. Anti-armor for the ghosts, auto-turrets... You're already producing a small number of medivacs for drops. You could call it Phase Poe.

I tried mass ravens in coop as Nova using the faster starports. 3 missles and turrets with backup healing is amazing. tbf I did sprinkle in banshees due too the starport cooldown but honestly with an ally watching your back your ravens will be safe.

What do you think about playing 2 reactor factories and 1 starport (instead of 1 facto + 2 starports) against 4 gate blink. Since you'll be able to outproduce him (in terms of hellions/stalkers) and possibly dive & try to suuround him. The 2/3 ravens you'll have would be just for anti-armor (and maybe disabling the prism). Cuz when I saw the game you lost (3900 mmr opponent), you just couldn't keep up with his stalker production (plus you kept loosing all your ravens)

Mass blink stalkers were pretty much the autoloss for Beasty when he tried this. They either hit before you can defend or pick off a few ravens and blink away from the turrets. Pretty rough. Outside of that, Raven harass to cripple eco was the way.
@TheGuruStud2 жыл бұрын
But they knew it was beasty, so that's why he lost. Barcode and he would've won a lot more games.

I recently came back to SC2 because I watched you play. But I couldn't find any zerg and TVZ my favourite match up. I feel like you can see them only on higher level because of the nerfs and how much APM the race requires. (inject larva, spread creep, control bigger than usual army)
