It would've been cool to see how much darker Peter would've gotten, but I think we have a pretty solid idea based on how the suit manifested on Harry soon after. The way they wrote the suit's influence in this game was amazing. It was a slow development that lead to a lot of character exposition. This game series is genius.

Honestly, the wackiest part of all this is Peter not even offering to help Norman find the cure. He's proven he can do genetic research, he did it with the plants in this game, and cured the Lizard twice. If he really cared, and wanted to keep the symbiote, he would have at least offered help.

The whole arc was a mess. True peter can get angry with the symbiote but with only 3 days of it.. he would sure want to help norman or something else. I don’t know, that game has a lot of cool elements that were made great but lacks development to tie those elements into something even better Spiderman1 has less elements on the story but they took their time to develop them all

its so tragic. cause hoenstly all their ideas could have really worked. some moemnts like the entire lizard to kraven vs venom part of the game imo is peak insominac. the best they have ever done. its a shaem it nosedives so hard in the final act cause it deosnt let story enoguh time to breathe. thhe 3 act strucutre kind of messed the game and they should have thought of just giving about 5 more hours combined for the late stage symbiote peter and early stage stalker venom before doing the symbiote invasion@@MilestheDirtyMindedGoblin2099

I personally feel like we got a good idea of how dark and angry Peter would get. When it’s later in the story and he has the suit they put in little changes. Like how when Pete would get a random crime event with Miles, he wouldn’t say anything to Miles or even be given the option to interact with him anymore after. And of course when he ran into criminals like the Followers of the Flame, his dialogue was pissed rather than quippy. I get the curiosity of seeing how dark he can get of course, just feel like we should also acknowledge what we got that’s all.

Oooo. This could actually be a solution for the short time in the symbiote arc for Peter. Add in a ton of missions to do in the open world (varied and fun designs). You don’t really get much cutscenes but what you do get is voice lines that develop this part of the story more. For example, as you do more missions, he’s still getting calls from people he knows but starts to not pick up, and you see this. It also fits with the narrative, as to progress, you would have to actively do Spider-Man things. And in this story, the symbiote is trying to make him a better ‘Spider-Man’.

The scariest thing about this is if you clearly see the suit on Peter as he’s making his dialogue and Harry’s talking to him, you’ll notice that he looks much more jagged and has more veins bulging out (which is exactly how he looks like when he’s in the symbiote surge mode and during his fight with Kraven and Miles…)

Yup there's so much stuff that I wanted in this game but got disappointed. Love this game anyways though BUT I really loved Fighting Taskmaster in the first spidey game. They showed him in the reveal trailer so I was actually waiting for him to show up randomly in my open world playthrough/free roam. HE NEVER SHOWED UP😭😭 LIKE THAT IS A MISSED OPPORTUNITY THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE WITH MARVEL'S SPIDER-MAN 2 IS THAT AFTER YOU COMPLETE THE GAME IT GETS SO REPETETIVE IN THE OPEN WORLD JUST SWINGING FIGHTING MONSTERS SWINGING FIGHTING MONSTERS RINSE AND REPEAT. I wish they could've added more in the world so It would feel more alive also there's still that limitation with the interaction of the NPCS they could've done so much more I feel. These are the only 2 things I wanted to point out. Like Taskmaster not being in Spidey 2 was a missed opportunity and lack of stuff to do in the world after the main story. LIKE THEY COULD'VE ADDED SO MANY FUN SIMPLE THINGS FOR EXAMPLE Going in to stores/to look around interact more with the NPCS like it would be cool if u could choose what to say when talking to them instead of random/same repetetive voice lines REPEATING LIKE SORRY, SPIDEY COMING THROUGH, EMERGENCY, LIKE THOSE SHORT VOICE LINES WHEN U BUMP INTO SOMEONE.
