Maple syrup is an healthier alternative to sugar. It has more nutrients than sugar but yes, requires to be consumed in moderation.

Great recipe. The skin on the almonds contains a protein called lectins. It damages the intestinal lining. Please remove it before consuming the almond. ❤

Thank you for the effort. I tried the second recipe and unfortunately it is really bland. I even added a tbs. of dark chocolate liqueur, and chunks of coconut and mango, but the result is still bland.
