What happened to her is tragic. I wish more details of this story was shared. She fell into a fire face first and did not react to it burning her skin. Was she heavily medicated/drugged? Did she have an underlying health condition? So many unanswered questions but I am glad she survived.

After a quick search on Google I read some articles/interviews by her and here's more informations : - In the article they said that her friend Kenzie was actually there from the start and they actually HAD a few drinks yes (as stated on her Gofundme), her friend was asleep in her swag and was suddenly awoken by strange noises and saw Halie head first in the campfire not moving - It is said that Halie fell asleep on her camping chair which had then tipped over and sent her face first into the fire (which was actually burnt down to the coals). Her friend rushed over her and pulled her from the sizzling hot coals and in a mumble she asked her friend what happened and to pour ice cold water over her burnt face to cool it down. Then they drove back to Halie's house and she stuck her face under the shower/Mathew (after being awoken by Kenzie) ran her face under cold running tap water while Kenzie called the emergency. Later, paramedics arrived, injected her sedatives and rushed her to the hospital/ICU - She was placed into an eight day coma and stayed two and a half months in hospital and only person for one hour a day could come visit her due to COVID - Doctors believe that her pain receptors burnt off so quickly that she couldn't feel anything Her friend saved her life that day ! It's actually the opposite. When you get a 3rd/4th degree burn you can't feel it in the aftermath BECAUSE there are no nerves left alive. My boyfriend will complain and complain if he got a small burn or a scab BUT once he got a 3rd degree burn covering his entire foot at work and he was COMPLETELY unable to feel it. I would wash his foot for him and he couldn't feel any of it which was almost convenient. On the areas where he got 2nd and 1st degree burns (lesser burns) he could still feel some burning.

@amity I didn't say she fell asleep. But it is far more likely that a person would be unresponsive to burning hot coals to the face following a drug overdose rather than simply falling asleep. It's one thing to sleep through an alarm when ur exhausted, but I guarantee that if someone dumped ice-cold water on your head you would instantly wake up. That is not always the case when you are unconscious from an overdose because the central nervous system is severely depressed.

I wrote this exact comment under the video but here it is in case you haven't seen it : For those who are wondering what "exactly" happened keep reading (but please it is heartbreaking for her so please be compassionate 🥺❤). I'm glad she's still here to tell her story, she's strong and is a beautiful Phoenix as she likes to call herself 🥰💖✨

😥😥 I hope she gets the things she needs spiritually and mentally ♥️ God bless her🙏🏽. Her husband stood the test of time and I’m glad he staid by her side❤️. She can get permanent paint on appearances for her face such as eye browns and lips, all that is up to her. I admire her bravery for being on the show and telling her story☺️.

Thank God she's alive and that she's in such a healthy, upbeat spirits, but I can't seem to understand how a person can fall face first into a bonfire and not react to getting away. She just laid there face in fire and her friend pulled her out, thank God for that, but it's just all so strange to me. She was grieving, took some time to be alone, but then felt lonely and calls husband to have a friend come over and an hour before the friend actually shows, she gets the bonfire going, falls asleep and face-plants the bonfire?!! Again, thank God she's ok but it's just strange!! BUT I'LL TAKE THE STRANGE AND ALL, BEING THAT SHES ALIVE AND THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS AT THE END.

For people saying they don't believe her story and asking why is it that she would just lay there face down in a fire... Have you ever laid face first in a fire yourself? When your body is in immense pain it can go into something called shock and you can pass out from too much pain. I got hot oil in my eye while cooking and I remember not being able to talk or move. I would probably not be able to move if my face was in a fire if I had to guess. Thank God she got rescued and is still here! What a beautiful Angel! She is stronger then me that's for sure.

Beauty is truly only skin deep, it's what's in your heart that matters. My bro got burned when he was 8, chest,face,arms, &hands. He had the compression suit and multiple surgeries till he was 16 and he made the decision that he was done with the operations. He is now 40 and handsome if I do say so myself. He is a hard worker and loves his boys. Thanks for sharing your story. Prayers for continued success, keep your head up.🙏

i have to say something here . facial burns at the time are horrific, but a few years down the track you will be amazed at the bodys own healing abilities. my partner was burnt in a house explosion and we were told he probably wouldnt even make it ,he was in icu for 4 months . that was 8 years ago ,he made a full recovery ,his scars are minimal in visibility ,and hes most importantly alive and mentally in good health . the doctors and surgeons at the hospital he was in were able to perform miracles . always stay positive in the bodies abilities and strengths to get you thru

Deep depression can make you really low energy. I had dizzy spells all the time when I was at a very low point despite having a blood test to say things were fine. Collapsing in the street and everything. Maybe she fainted into the fire? It would make more sense than her falling asleep and not waking up despite being on fire.

Your body would wake up from your face being melted off. She had a miscarriage and went to a bonfire, bonfires include alcohol and sometimes drugs, she was probably drunk.

@Woke 999 I don't think it was alcohol, drugs would make sense. She could have overdosed and regretted it, so she called her husband. It makes more sense than her just 'falling asleep' and would also make her too sickly to get up.
@alchemyofcolorandstyle3 жыл бұрын
That’s the thing, she’d wake up real fast from something like that, unless something in her system highly prevented it. Highly, like anesthesia-grade. Hopefully an anesthesiologist can shed some light here. And if she were to have spent minutes with her head in the fire, wouldn’t she have lost her eyes?
