My dad has a 2007 (TRD Off Road version) and it’s made Tacoma’s easily my favorite truck in the entire world. It’s a beast yet not huge and flashy like a ford or chevy. It can even pull a 22ft sailboat, which really isn’t all that heavy but it’s kinda funny how big the boat is compared to the truck. We call it Taco. Just finished video, they’re surprisingly similar.

I bought a new 2019 Ford Ranger FX4 ( no Toyota dealer anywhere close)...& I am extremely happy with it. Eco-boost 4 banger, 4 x 4, high ground clearance, seems good off road, 10 speed tranny, etc. it rides well, gets good mileage, & I added my own extra off road lights,etc. I had two really decent vehicles to trade in, & got a good price, plus I transferred an added bumper to bumper warranty...so I now have 8 yrs. of bumper to bumper coverage. I drive my vehicles for years to get my money's worth...& I plan to drive this vehicle for at least 15 yrs....hopefully 20. I'm not a young pup anymore, retired now, & live away from any metros....kind of out in the sticks. We have both paved & unpaved roads, & a few squirrel paths....so this vehicle suits me. I am a "pick up man"...& don't need to haul heavy trailers anymore...& my other 4 x 4 is a Jeep. I think I'm good for now.

Truly a masterpiece you've written sir, a proud way to broadcast to the world "I have no fucking clue how to drive a manual car!". Manuals are about control. Going slow, first or second, hitting the 40's to 60's you take it to 3rd or 4th, cruising above 75 you wanna put it into 5th. Each of the gears let's the car drive easier and puts less strain on it long term. I'd love it if you replied saying "Oh but i've driven a manual for 4034 years!!!!!!" No you haven't. If you think that the reason automatic > manual is because you/people you've been in a manual with can't drive in fucking traffic, then you're an idiot and shouldn't be comparing the two. Hint: You change gears to match the required speed!

I've had absolute brainlet retards tell me pure nonsense such as "But you'll stall in traffic!", "It's less reliable!", "Once you go automatic you never go back", "It's just a car." These people should not drive cars, they should stick to buses. Driving a manual feels great, especially if it's an older vehicle without all those mammy gadgets. The control is a feeling that you can get hooked on.

My dream car is an 05 Subaru Forester XT. The perfect combination of car and truck. My first car was a non turbo forester and i used to haul my crf50 in the cargo area and still could hold 4 friends. That thing would push through a foot of snow on gravel roads too, with all season tires. I just want that turbo for the healthy 250hp-an exhaust and intake makes that thing a crazy sleeper.

I own a 2000 Toyota tundra limited edition TRD bought it 2 years+ ago and it had front end damage that put the truck into salvage/totaled status, ultimately just replace the front end and has been running like a champ after for sitting in a driveway for 5 years, minor fixes and annual replacements of parts like spark plugs and brakes and filters but best truck I have ever driven or owned and it is my daily work truck, hauls all my framing tools and bought a rack for hauling large materials and it can make the big cottonwood canyon with with 5000 payload on top in the middle of winter with 4wd and no chains. And the original tires I got with the truck when I bought it (3/28/18), just replaced them this weekend (5/16/20).
