They made that change last year (or so) in POE1. All melee attacks hit all enemies that the weapon actually passes through during the animation, even basic swings without using a skill.

guys the skill trees are a lot easier than they appear to me. Just use logic and feel encouraged to plot a path. Do you want more weapon damage or elemental? plot a path to reach those nodes. Grab any node as you progress you feel like you need. You can always refund points. Also it's worth noting, that every class shares the same skill tree. So all the nodes you see, are all being overlapped by different classes. That also means you can be a warrior that casts fire spells if you want.

So far the Act 1 final boss is my favorite in the game. Act 2 and 3 bosses are really cool but the vibes of the Count are perfect. The music, the mechanics, the poetry, the fog.... absolutely choice design. I killed him for the 5th time yesterday and I was actually sad that I killed him so quickly lol.

@@nqgames2954 Act 2 boss is sad as well. Faridun are bad guys but our side is not better. I mean siding with the corruption is bad ofcourse. But Faridun are kinda right? It was very weird and complex if you look closely. Also we see Faridun uses huge animals to move the caravans. So there is another and more efective ways to move a caravan without using slaves. But our allies use slaves anyway. Lore is very complex. It's not just good vs evil. Evryone is doing what they are doing to survive. I love it. It's grim and bleak. Before playing the game I thought Count was going to be a generic evil "haha I'm evil guy" but the dude is actually a corrupted sad man. Can't wait for the rest of the acts. Also Doryani is evil as fuck too. And at the end of the act 3 he becomes our ally. I don't know if he is going to stay that way but some of the machinations in his dungeon is just pure evil. Are we the baddies?

Its fun to watch videos of your boss fights as you progress. I am a brand new player and I felt good about myself beating bosses in 1-2 try's. After I finished the campaign I went back and watched my first boss fights. The videos were 3-5 mins long. 70 hours in and 2 endgame characters, I now kill bosses in 20-30 seconds. Its crazy how much better you can do as you learn.

Monk is rough to start out with, you can just get a bow and lightning arrow with lightning rod and cruise through until you get better skills then switch back to quaterstaff later.

Monk is also strong early, as long as you also use ice skills. The main reason that jayvee struggled early on was because he didn't quite understand how he gets power charges and just how much more dmg the falling thunder gets from them.

Im having frequently crashes, windows 11 doesnt like this game. Im limiting my cpu usage of this game by 10% to stop it from crashing windows and have disabled 3 cpu cores if it still crashes so i can close the exe. Windows just became garbage for a few games, switching to linux soon. Edit And it just makes no difference in game performance to lower the settings.
