You know what's weird? Nickelodeon has a similar app to this, albeit for preschoolers, called Noggin. Like Boomerang, it features ended/cancelled Nickelodeon preschool shows that rarely air on TV anymore, including Blue's Clues, Gullah Gullah Island, The Upside Down Show, and many others. I know it sounds stupid of me to point that out, especially in comparison to Boomerang, but you wanna know why I am bringing this up? Not only is this a subscription service, but it features almost all of the seasons of each show on there and it costs for a much, and I mean much, cheaper price, only 6 (technically$5.99, but you get the picture) dollars. Comparing that to Boomerang's ridiculous price of 40 dollars as a subscription service, let alone with very few Cartoon Network orignals, aka Cartoon Cartoons, I think you can see who is superior in this case. Side Note - Just like the Boomerang subscription service, the Noggin name and brand comes from a TV channel that was owned by Nickelodeon and the Sesame Workshop from 1999 to 2009, when it was changed to the Nick Jr channel. It featured shows from Nick Jr (Blue's Clues, Allegra's Window, Eureeka's Castle, etc), the Sesame Workshop (Sesame Street, The Electric Company, 3 2 1 Contact, etc), and even some shows from the main programming lineup of Nickelodeon, particularly Doug. I know most of you won't care about what I'm saying here since Noggin's mostly aimed at young kids, and Boomerang's aimed at more older kids as well as those who grew up with Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, the Hannah-Barbara cartoons, and such, but for me, this was like heaven.

PieGuy, I respect your decision on not using pirated sites to watch older content. But hey, we could say the same thing about Disney cartoons..... yes, Disney is completely different network, but the point still stands..... where can we watch Disney Afternoon or Disney's 1 Saturday Morning Shows? Heck, what about the early 2000's Disney cartoon lineup? As much as i love Cartoon Network, it'd be nice to see a place where older stuff can be viewed besides pirated means. I'll pass on the Boomerang app. People are like: "You should be happy Classic Looney Tunes is on the app and plays on the Boomerang channel daily," no, not for me. They never play the 40's and 30's WB shorts in America. I'm not big on CN Cartoon Cartoons. I did like shows like Dexter's Lab and Johnny Bravo, but CN are never going to get full seasons of the CN originals and they _force_ people to obtain full seasons in HD by illegal methods. Why do I have to be a goody-two shoes and get a show that I enjoy when I only have 1, 2 or only 3 seasons of it instead all of the seasons? This is why people don't want to use Netflix. " _Everything is on Netflix_ ", no it's not. People have certain shows that are only available on Amazon. And these certain shows are only available in certain countries instead of them being available in _every_ country like they _should_ be. Why constantly pester Cartoon Network about full seasons of Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo and Courage the Cowardly Dog? They're lackadaisical. How can you pay for shows legally if they never provide them to you to buy (and I mean _ALL_ of seasons of them)? I'll stick to pirating. At least I'll be able to watch all seasons of shows that I enjoy (even if the quality of the episodes of certain shows aren't great), it beats the hell out of waiting for a network to release HD versions of _all_ seasons of CN originals (that _actually_ did well) on DVDs and Blu-Rays and paying for public streaming services that only release a few seasons of animated shows instead of _all_ seasons where I have to travel and live in a _completely_ different country to watch them. Hell, Netflix is trying to put a kibosh to VPNs unjustly to the people of other countries because they won't allow them to watch certain shows in those particular countries to begin with, yet, allow them in others. Why charge people money for less content?

+Logan Holmes I wouldn't use kisscartoon.io . It's riddled with malware. The former KissCartoon mod confirmed that it's a fake website. It's fake because they're not the ones actually maintaining it. KimCartoon is what I'd recommend. It's updated frequently just like old KissCartoon was. KimCartoon is basically the new KissCartoon now. Very similar interface. I use that for my cartoon needs.

I think they're planning to add more and more shows as time goes on, considering the app just launched. And again, as inconvenient as it is to have a lot of Cartoon Network's old originals only be on iTunes, it's still better than how Disney is doing it. Most of their cartoon shows from 1995 to 2007 (I think the only exception being Kim Possible) don't even have that.

If people really wanted a channel that's dedicated to the old original Cartoon Network shows, then CN should create something that's similar to Nickelodeon's "The Splat!". Heck, they should find a name for a channel that would fit well with the old CN checkerboard logo and air not just the 90s shows but also the 2000s shows as well. Maybe call the new channel the "Patchwork". I don't know. Is there even a good name that could be use as inspiration for the CN checker logo?

Well, at least their app has some classic CN originals as well as their old Hanna-Barbera cartoons. IIRC, the Boomerang channel barely has anything like that not only now, but for a while. Mostly just Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo(as well as their recent spinoffs), some Canadian cartoons they've picked up, and shows you'd see on CN nowadays already. Boomerang has as much to do with classic CN stuff as the History Channel has to do with history.

Here in Brazil we have plenty of options. We don't have the Adult Swim block at night on CN, so they reair classic shows from the late 90's and early 2000' in a block called Cartoonzaum. We also have an entire channel dedicated for reairing classic cartoons from Hanna Barbera, Warner Brothers, MGM, etc, called Tooncast.

I think you mean Cartoon Network since they were originally created to show old Hanna Barbera cartoons than around the 90s when Cartoon Network started to form it's own identity with shows like Powerpuff Girls, Cow and Chicken, I am weasel, Dexter Laboratory, etc. they created Boomerang to basically be a museum where they can dump old shows that ended their run so Cartoon Network can continue to air new upcoming shows while not abandoning the old ones. Nowadays Cartoon Network isn't about original content since 90% of their line ups are reboots old cartoons from the 70s, 80s (thanks to Thundercats roar), 90s, and the 2000s, and Boomerang is literally a graveyard for cartoons that have low ratings (PPG reboot, Ben 10 reboot, etc.) and cartoons that literally NOBODY asked for (Wabbit, Waku Racer reboot, etc.), and a lot of their old shows are literally lost to the passage of time even newer shows that JUST ended or on going like Adventure Time, Regular Show, Uncle Grandpa, and Steven Universe get lost to the passage of time since CN don't want to market them (Adventure Time) or treat their hiatus as an excuse to stop airing them (Steven Universe).

What got me about the Boomerang app is that there's not enough variety compared to what I grew up seeing on the actual Boomerang channel. No Dexter or 2 Stupid Dogs, no Laff-a-Lympics or Swat Kats, just a limited selection of the most popular HB and CN shows. I think the reason they only show some episodes is because it'll be too expensive to run the app otherwise. From what I've heard, the more stuff stored in the app, the more expensive it is to run it. Warner Bros. would have to pay Apple and Samsung to have it there.

if u have comcast and CN then you can watch PPG Classic, Dexter's Lab, Teen Titans Classic, Ben 10 Classic, Captain Planet, Fosters' Home, and the PPG Movie all on demand. I cant believe no one else is talking about this

you know, almost no body i know even knows "angelo rules" exists, which i kinda like, because its relatable, not too many over the top cliche situations, and its just good, also the animation really isn't too bad, the cgi isn't too crappy and it's just plain out decent and enjoyable, i could say similar things about other shows too

I know it's easy to talk about spongebob but I think you should seriously consider doing season reviews of stuff like the simpsons, Rugrats, Fairly odd parents, or Adventure time
