For good soft serve at home i reccomend Emma's goodies recipe, where you make the ice cream base, freeze it into little ice cubes and then put them in a blender. And for the milk foam it's actually very very easy, just warm up ur milk into a small pot and once it starts to get warm use an immersion blender or an hand mixer and whip it up, takes literally about 10 seconds

Happy Halloween and pumpkin spice days!!! Denny’s makes the pancakes as well, and they are so good!! I’ve been making all kinds of pumpkin spice things. As well as Chef John’s Horrible Hand Cheese and ham thing. Pumpkin Spice Whoopie Pies with home cooked pumpkin and homemade pumpkin spice marshmallow fluff filling in the shape of skulls. 😂 Pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin streusel bread with a maple glaze, and will be making pumpkin sausage pasta bake next week. I’m not 100 percent sure but I think with ice cream makers it scrapes the bowl as it turns which your setup wasn’t able to do with such a large bowl. Might be why it took so long and was so icy.

You can actually buy an eclectic milk frother and it’s just as good as the coffee shop imo. I make lattes, cappuccinos and even cold foam with it. It was like 30 bucks and well worth the money for coffee shop experience at home lol
