@@irmajasso-mendez4333 I purchased the Calphalon skillets. Amazon had a package of 2 sizes for $55. I did research and this one came up in the top 5 non sticks and the price was better than most. Directions said do not put in dishwasher. The dishwasher is what messed up my other non stick pan. Hope this helps.

@@irmajasso-mendez4333 Worked perfectly. Tried frying some cheese too just to see what would happen. Slid right out onto drip paper! One thing directions on pans said was to wash by hand with no scratchy brush or scrubber and no dishwasher. I think that is how I ruined my last no stick skillet. I put in dishwasher and it damaged the surface. Every Blessing to you and yours.

I’ve been cutting up chickens from a very young age too. Raised chickens and cleaned them. I’m 80 years old. When I was young my friends didn’t even know how to cut up a chicken. They always bought it precooked at the store. I’ve fried chicken in my iron skillet without and flour. It has a wonderful taste to it. Love your show

This reminds me of frying bacon from a cold skillet with water, covered. The bacon comes out so nice. I did actually try this from your previous video with this method. I have news for u.. High cholesterol is caused by a high sugar diet and lack of exercise..and hormones that caused the body to make too much cholesterol..it's not actual dietary cholesterol that causes high cholesterol..!!

just want to make sure Im understanding...start with cold pan, place chicken skin down, turn to medium heat and cover. After 10 minutes, remove cover and cook 10 minutes more UNCOVERED. Turn over and cook 10 minutes more UNCOVERED.

I've got some chicken in the fridge, Pam, for tomorrow. Thanks for the recipe. I'm brining it in leftover pickle juice (I made my husband some pickled eggs and didn't want to waste the rest of the juice). Hope it turns out, lol.

Pickle juice is the best brine in the world! You could also do a dry brine for a day and let it dry out in the frig . That would also be really good. I bet yours turned out great

@@tonyawhitten5199 Oh my goodness, I made this with chicken breast last night in the air fryer. I wet-brined the meat, then dried it out in the fridge. I seasoned the meat with my homemade turkey seasoning. 6 minutes at 400 degrees then flip for 10 minutes. Holy Moly I would have paid $50 a plate for how good that chicken is.

I think this is the way my mom used to cook chicken. She didn't have a lid for her larger pan, so she used a metal pizza pan. I remember her cooking it for a while with the pizza pan on, but then my memory fades. Her chicken looked just like yours, and I loved the brownies in the bottom of the pan. Every once in a while, she would make milk gravy with the brownies, to my disappointment, but she loved it, as we always had mashed potatoes with every dinner. That was cheap and filling for a family of 6. I will be trying your method. I may return to give you results. Thank you for this! We called mom's recipe sticky chicken.
