So I've always wondered what it would be like to follow all of the advice for my body type, face shape, skin tone, hair color, eye color, etc - and see if what I "should" be wearing based on my physical features is any better than what I already like to. So with the help of some experts, I went on a makeover journey and got a head-to-toe "perfect" makeover!

My first impression of Safiya (and Tyler) when I first saw her on BuzzFeed, was that she was a very attractive person. Very pretty face. The irony is, you forget that because she doesn't lead with her appearance at all. She is very cerebral, quirky, witty, creative, and a lot of good things that are all about inner qualities - which is fantastic. Very well-rounded person, and it's one of the reasons why I really like her. Because she is a true original, who leads with her personality, skills, head, and heart. There are so many superficial, narcissistic people out there, and Safiya has always struck me as the opposite. I'm so happy for her success.

Yes, society makes us think we constantly have to be the better versions of ourselves especially about our physical appearances, when in reality this constant push is even more negative than the thing we're trying to change. The actual attractive thing that you can find in a person is them being themselves, so don't give an f about the outside opinions (other people/society) and focus more on internal (ourselves). If you try to always stay in the standards, you're actually becoming boring since you're the expectations with no thrill, but if you're unique then you'll bring more thrill that will make people enjoy your presence. Notice how sometimes you prefer to interact with the friend who annoys and teases you than the people who don't, that's because you enjoy their presence and accept their flaws because it makes them unique and more fun. There are a lot of celebrities that became popular even if they don't fit into the standards, take Hwasa and Jessi for examples. They don't fit the Korean beauty standards but they're successful because they're being themselves off and on cam and it's actually an inspiration for a lot of people. Also notice how most plastic surgeries either look unnatural af or look really bad, that's because you're beautiful just the way you are and you don't need to change a thing. Everyone has different preferences, someone might not like you but there's always someone who will and that's what you should focus on, you can't please everyone and everyone can't please you. It is what it is, it's not your obligation to impress everyone. Sorry for the lengthy comment lol, just wanna put it out there for anyone who needs it.

This is such a mess... Everything about her screams winter. They make her hair warmer for "balance" but you don't need to balance anything out. Enjoy your colors. Or black, in that case. They put her in clothes that are not meant for her body type (in the kibbe system). And the green in the jumpsuit isn't even warm but it's cold 😭😭 I truly love it She honestly looks better in her black vampire outfits. Would be great to see a video about a kibbe makeover. I don't hate the new cut or color. What I will say is that the warmer color looks a little more "mature" and "sophisticated," which may not fit for the everyday look of a comfy vampire. Lol. Also, it seems like she doesn't like to style her hair very often, and in what appears to be the wash-and-go version of the cut, I don't think it looks as good. The longer hair masked the fact that she didn't want to do a lot with her hair that day.
