It’s really inspiring to watch you bounce back and grow from a situation that I’m sure a lot of creators loose sleep over all the time. Even though I came for the reptiles I’ll be sticking around for more videos like this.

that bit about the supportive work environment i really feel! i recently moved and while my last job was also great, i was a manager for the better part of 5 years in a place with no real corporate structure. my new job every manager and colleague is so kind and even after having a medical emergency and having to take a week off and whf for another week it was very weird but also touching when i went back in and the management was asking if i needed more accommodations and if i was feeling ok. it was so refreshing. it really is nice to have a team that really feels like a team instead of just one dude managing a group of monkeys. anyways i’m glad to see you take things in stride and i’m interested to see how you continue to adapt and bring us along!

im glad you found something that’s working for you. i get what you mean about appreciating being a cog in the machine. sometimes my job gets stressful because i’m 1 of 3 people in my department so if someone needs something they really need me to pull through so it’s stressful while doing something like being one of thousands of delivery workers in a company takes the stress off of just you and spreads it around so that most of you don’t feel much stress about the job at all. sometimes during really stressful periods i think of quitting and getting a job like that but the benefits, healthcare primarily, keep me in.

I'm sure there will be a time when you wouldn't want to do either, but I'm glad to see that you are still here. I keep coming back because I get videos like this, and I love your dry humor. It honestly makes me laugh, so keep being you, because that's what I keep coming back for. Also, I wanted to expand on the positive work environment. When I started climbing the ladder for IT, before my current job I never had a supportive work environment. It's so off-putting and weird when you start and everyone just wants to work together so we can do our jobs, get money, and go home to our families/pets/hobbies. Like, things get done so quick, and the day just blows by, and you have way less burnout than if you were dealing with a horrible team and horrible people. It's so weird at first, but you also get used to it so quick, and a supportive team I believe can honestly make or break a job. If everyone is nasty to each other, nothing gets done. However, when everyone just collectively helps each other and works together, it's amazing what people can do. I honestly wish the whole world was like this.
