Hey guys- my hair is thin because of my genetics. There’s nothing I can do to change the density of my hair. Regardless, my length is almost to my tail-bone and this routine does work! I learned it from my Sudanese mother whose hair is to her butt now! The key to stretching the hair is braiding or buns (never too tight though). Always keep the ends protected so they don’t get tangled / break off. 1 braid, 1 twist, or 1 bun is my favorite ways to stretch my hair. For thicker hair I would use black cumin seed oil and do 1 braid or loose bun for 6 months. Everyday unravel it, comb your hair out and spray with water then seal with oil and re-braid or re-twist. The water is KEY and this is how you keep the hair moisturized. Also- you can totally skip the first ponytail holder and just braid or twist then close with a ponytail holder.

Yay or Nay for hair videos? My favorite brush: The WET Brush amzn.to/3NYmsc6 Ninabella organic detangling brush: amzn.to/44tCtw2 Innersense organic beauty shampoo: amzn.to/43erENs Shea Moisture Deep conditioner: amzn.to/46Drxh6 Microfiber hair towels: amzn.to/3NDaWS0 Organic Jojoba oil: amzn.to/3D2kf9o Organic Castor oil (for thick hair): amzn.to/3XHEanA This is a simple routine but this is how my mom got my hair to grow sooo long as a child. The key is to lock in moisture with oils and keep it protected in 1 or 2 braids or twists. After 6 months your hair will be so full and healthy and long!

Hi Amena a suggestion is to leave your deep conditioner longer 10mins is honestly not enough I tend to wash in am leave the treatment on with plastic cap and scarf the whole day then style after. And Jamaican black Castor oil is helpful to thicken the hair if you're interested. Stay blessed x

Your hair should not be washed daily our hair is not oily hence its better to wash weekly or every 2 weeks. Your hair is always super thin. Rather than using factory made treatments. Use Ethiopan Kebeh you can make it by whopping organic heavey cream with half cut of cold water tje butter should start to separte from the water, then add avocado,banana,eggs. Let this sit in your hair for the day or at least a couple of hours wash condition wash again. Also stop pulling back your hair you are losing front part of your hair.Also your nutrition is important to having healthy think hair.
@AmenaandElias Жыл бұрын
I agree nutrition and health is important. My hair is thin due to genetics so there’s nothing I can do about that. Regardless this routine works for anyone trying to grow long hair. But I’ll try that deep conditioning mixture and see how it works for my hair! Also, I know it sounds controversial but washing every 2-3 days keeps my hair moisturized and doesn’t dry it out. I meant to say every 2-3 days during summer time*** During the winter I go to 5-7 days.
