I normally just cut it or do something to ruin it like dye/perm but this time I decided to actually care and grow it to waist length. Also, my daughter’s hair is waist length its always been long and grows super fast. Just saying I am a fully black woman and my hair grows very fast NATURALLY “black hair doesn’t grow” is a myth!

Wow just come across your channel . I’m intrigued by your comments ! You’re the only person I’ve come across that has said I can grow my hair while in styles- and I love that ! Because I been doing this for years . Sick of being told I must do my hair in cornrows or twists for it to grow . However I have come to a crossroads I’ve become stuck . Stuck at bra length for 2 years !! I’m getting worried . I know I probably don’t moisturise enough .. and 4c hair needs it . I’m interested in the book and I will look at your other videos to see what further help I can get . I mean more than 1&1/2 inches that’ll be goood if it were possible! You appear to have softer hair though like 2 b/c. Maybe it’s easier I don’t know ! Thanks for a very informative video 😊! I might be seeing you soon !

@BL3SSed-Bliss

Surely, similar to braiding one's own hair. It limits (or even ceases) breakage, but also _loc[k]s in all_ hair, including much of the "dead"/fallen strands, thus massively reducing shedding. Somewhat akin to rope. 🪢 *Certainly **_not_** for all,* but it's easy to see why the growth can be endless with anyone who chooses that route. ☮
@prtdiva
@prtdiva 11 сағат бұрын
Locs don’t make your hair grow. Having your hair locd just stops your ends from breaking off, so you’re able to retain more length. Your hair will grow regardless (obviously excluding people with illnesses like alopecia). We don’t see much of that growth because we’re constantly manipulating our hair when it’s loose, so it breaks off. But when your ends are protected, your hair will grow without breakage. I put my hair in faux locs and just let it grow. When I take the locs down I’m always amazed at how much length I was able to retain!

I can’t even express enough how beautiful you and your hair are! I’m not even a 4C girlie and you have the hair of my dreams. I am currently focusing on length retention so I can grow out a relaxer. I ended up moving to FL a couple years ago and my hair just didn’t initially adjust, it was falling out in clumps, shedding was out of control and it was chronically dry and brittle. I wanted to die. Honestly, I didn’t do anything different to what I normally did, I think the climate, water and salt (I worked on an island and was outside all the time) just fumbled my progress. The only thing I could do was keep it stretched for a prolonged period of time but after but it was still breaking off in braids and other styles. I relaxed it as a last resort because I know I can manipulate much less if it’s straight, and now it’s back to thriving. I think after 2 1/2 years being here my hair is finally adjusting so I’m gonna chance it and see if I can do a big chop at the end of this year. We sometimes have circumstances that halt our progress. The goal isn’t always self hatred, sometimes we just don’t wanna lose ALL of our progress and go completely bald.

This beautiful Queen has a gorgeous mane!! But remember everyone has different anagen/telegen phases of hair growth and rest. Everyone in our family has had at the shortest length a little past shoulders, and the longest actually sitting on our hair. We could cut our hair and it would seem to people a month later it is long again. People dont want to recognize that genetics can play a big part. It’s not a coincidence that everyone in our family even the men had fast growing hair. It wasnt a miracle concoction. Now with all that said, everyone’s hair grows. The problem is the lack of maintenance for some. There are some heads of hair that do better with once they discover protective styles. Thats because they are not messing with it and are now maintaining not noticed before length. There are some who are shampooing with a product that your scalp/hair doesn’t like which is hindering your success. Everyone’s scalp does not like the same oils. Not everyone’s hair can absorb successfully the same size protein or the same schedule of usage. All in all, this Queen and her friend have discovered a way of achieving their glorious manes which work for them and their hair type. Please be mindful that not everything works for everyone. You can try her product and routine or anyone else’s and it may not work for you, but don’t look at as “it was a fraud or they were frauds” look it as “ this didnt work for me. Last but not least, whatever you do, be consistent, give it time. Of course if you use something and see shedding or obvious signs that it’s not for you then stop. But dont use a product, keep taking out your measuring tape and get frustrated because it’s not down your back yet. Give it time, a watched clock never moves when you’re trying to leave work!!

Loved the video and information sis. I watched all the way through liked and subscribed. I’ve been looking on Etsy for a black owned natural hair small business to buy from. Usually I make DIY hair products. But lately I’ve been so busy. And instead of running to Walmart I want to support us plus I’m totally opposed to putting chemicals in my hair. You’re sold out sis🥺 when will you restock? Thanks again ❤

First, I’d like to say which beautiful, big hair. I am in love your natural hair. Sweetie I’ve tried products for natural hair. I won’t mention those products but they didn’t work for my hair. I have soft like a 3B hair something like that because the back of my hair is very sore as curls all over my hair and my entire head is very soft so I don’t need heavy products on my hair, so I went back to my arson Pantene for curly hair. I use the entire line I don’t have problems with breakage. My hair is not dry nothing I even use the mask that they have and I’m just sticking with that I use tea works best on my hair texture. So I figure it’s no need for me to venture out and test more hair products because I have and they just did not work with my own hair text. I want to say to you you’re absolutely right when you’re talking about the different types of shampoos and conditioners, that might not work with our hair texture me I had to learn from trial and error, but I thank you so much for letting Women knowabout different shampoos and conditioners may work and may not work you get a girl🎉

Hey.. new subscriber! Im starting tomorrow. Im coming from locks too - though ive been natural since december 2019 now lol. Basically, my hair isnt budging. Its stuck at just past the shoulders, and its a thick and fine afro texture. Maybe not quite 4c i dont know. I really dont know 🤷🏾‍♀️ but its like it wont grow. So im going to make a mask tomorrow, mayo, honey, eggs and olive oil and leave it on for an hour. Rinse off in cool water, leave in conditioner, and use my Rosemary oil blend and some grease to seal and twist to finish. All finger and no combing. And im going to follow you ladies advice. And im going to leave that hair alone!! Wish me luck!! From the 🇬🇧🇯🇲😊❤️

For skeptics who believe your hair is a wig (the volume & length is pretty fantastic) it would be helpful to pull it back from your face to expose your hairline. . . Personally I have no reason to doubt you. My hair is about 2-3 inches long. My primary quest is health not length. Peace.

Hello, I am trying to grow my hair 1 inch every month. My hair is now 11-12 inches and I have been growing it for 2 years exactly . I have low porosity hair and it is soft most of the time so I don’t really need that much protein. My hair goal is 18 inches so that means my hair needs to grow 7-6 inches in a year or less if it is possible . Also my hair doesn’t grow that quickly it grows around 0.3-0.5 inches and this year my hair hasn’t grown as much as I wanted, it grew only 4 inches. Can you please give me some advice? Also this video has really been helpful and your are so beautiful and your hair is really thick and healthy😊

Hey lovely💞Thanks for being in this community! And we’re happy to help! Something that can help accelerate your hair growth is adding more nutrient rich products into your hair + scalp routines, like rice + rosemary treatments. Would you be open to trying DIY protein treatments again? If so, I’d recommend this one of ours that helped many ppl in this community: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKSneaSdftl0bLcsi=rb5V2awuzkNcaLVz This treatment above is a protein treatment, but the ingredients in it are also rich in the nutrients, vitamins and minerals that can help accelerate your hair growth. And also feel free to shoot an email to cedajenaturals@gmail.com with more info. Because hormonal issues, medications, etc can be a factor as well. If you think this is the case for you, you may consider booking a 1:1 consultation with me here: www.justforblackgirls.com/book-online for additional personalized support and a plan tailored to your needs to assist you with further achieving your hair goals💞 Thanks for being in this community lovely💞God bless you in life and in your natural hair journey💞 and please let us know if you have any questions
