Okay, I need help: AITA because I told my friends that they can’t call my GF ugly? So, here’s the thing, I’m a 15 yo boy, and my gf is also 15 and in my class, she is on the heavier side, but we’ve been together for 1,5 years, because of her character, not because of her looks. Recently, my friends started teasing me that I only was in a relationship with her because she’s the only girl in our class that is shorter than me, which is not the case. And they say things to her like: “you don’t deserve him”. Now, I know, 15 is still young, but I LOVE this girl, and she loves me. Recently, they were saying she really needs to lose weight (in her face), she started crying, because they said just rude and offensive things. I told them to shut up, and that I loved her, and that if they had a problem with that, they’re not my friends anymore. The past week, none of them have spoken to me. And I don’t know if I did the right thing, it kind of feels like I threw away my lifelong friends for this girl. So, AITA? And what can I do? I need help…
