I agree. the 'problems' that we face can be insignificant with a twist in events or a sudden loss. time stops, your thoughts just stands still even your blood refuses to flow in your veins. and the worst or best part is you may never know if such a thing could happen tomorrow or 5 years later. I know I kinda drag this too much but this was my default mindset ever since 2016: the year I bounced back from a long period of depression. everything was feeling so great I was afraid to lose it once again.
@ChrisPoindexter98 Жыл бұрын
@mehmetgurdal They're still valid problems, more piled on, as if it wasn't aggravating enough for them or you, suddenly some extra hurt crushes us downwards. It was worth processing the emotions the whole way through, as she aptly put it near the end, "I still don't like traveling." Glad you're doing better, by the way!
@spacebartoloud Жыл бұрын
Aye, traumatic events/if it is/was what I think it was it is truly one of the most challenging moments we humans can go through, whether we are alone or not. It may be inevitable, and we may run from it, due to how heavy of a topic/conversation it is, but still it is something we can never truly prepare for until it happens to us, we may think we will be fine and/or be able to handle it, then bam the news hits us and we end up handling in a way we never intended. Tomorrow is never a 'given' for any one of us, nor are we capable of knowing when the last time we will ever speak to a loved one, and even if we know it, and we think we prepare for it, later on we may think of something we missed or something we think we should of.... could've... would have said if we could only have one more second with a loved one. Regret and the not knowing be it the knowledge of the last day, or simply just not knowing what to say, or how to say it, is something that is immensely difficult to navigate. As Ege said, my condolences indeed, I hope we all can find someone or the will power to keep going after a traumatic event, albeit I know that is much easier said than done, as our minds will be weighed down with many a thought.

I can sadly relate to the loss during a long flight.. Me and my family were moving together to U.S.A last year, we had 3 seperate flights. Home country to Vietnam, Vietnam to Qatar, and finally Qatar to the U.S. As we were waiting for our last and longest flight in Qatar, our grandpa (my dad's father) died. It was a really hard blow as we were extremely close to him, especially my father. We already lost our grandma (my dad's mother, who was an angel) a few years back, and this was an extremely hard blow. It became depressing and horrible when we were trying to be so optimistic about this change in our lives. Condolences to Daidus, you and the loved one.

Lots of love! To share in a terrible travel storie!! I think my personal worst was also an international flight! For context, I’ve got some intense food/texture sensitivity. On this particular return trip, I was hit back to back to back with in flight meals that had textures I just couldn’t stomach, so I couldn’t eat them at all. Then the time between flights was so tight that we had to sprint through the airport, absolutely no time to grab anything else to eat. By the time I got to my last flight, I had been up so absurdly long, and I was so nauseous, I almost passed out right after we took off. A ton of the flight attendants rushed over to move me to the back of the plane where I could lay down, and someone brought me a chicken sandwich that i was actually able to eat. It probably wasn’t actually that delicious, but it was such a godsend in the moment that I have dreams about getting to eat it again! It’s got real healing properties in my memory, nothing else compares.

@12x2richter7 ай бұрын
I went from never flying to having to fly every week for work for years, and both things can be true. It's a miracle and a luxury compared to having to drive or take a ship, for sure. Being able to board a plane on one side of the world and appear 13 hours later thousands of miles away is great. ... but airlines have made it as horrible as they're allowed, to the point that literally the government is having to step in and tell them things like "Passengers have legs, plan for that. You're not allowed to drug people. You can't stack them like cordwood. If people don't have room to flex their muscles, they will get blood clots and die." In 2005, the 737s being flown had 5 seats in a row, total seating for 108 to 130 people and it was tolerable. You had enough room, it was like sitting in someone else's worn out living room chair. In 2024, a 737 now has 6 seats in a row, and "fits" 200 people in about the same space. When I have to fly somewhere, my shoulders don't fit in the seat space, and I sit twisted for 3-4 hours, landing with horrible back pains just trying to stay out of my neighbor's space. No, "Comfort plus" seats don't fix that, it's $60 more for the same exact seat but with 4 more inches of legroom. First class is better, but a first class flight to Tokyo or Sydney is ~$16,000. Business class is ~$8k. You can fit a lot more cows in the truck on the way to the slaughterhouse if you cram them in a with a bulldozer. It's not pleasant for the ones who make the trip, but the ones in the field can tell themselves how much nicer it is than walking. The last two trips I've taken inside the continental US, I've looked at how far to drive, or if there's a train available rather than flying on our domestic airlines. Unfortunately 3 hours by plane vs 22 hours by train on the last route makes it not reasonable, but the airlines should really pay attention to the fact that people are looking for any way possible to not fly.

Hey Em, here's some advice for you when it comes to ANY bugs, but in this case bedbugs: Carry peppermint oil! No seriously. My dads job had a bed bug issue, and he wanted to find natural ways to repel them (Didn't want to flood his locker with a chemical smell of bug repellants.) and he found out that peppermint oil was a VERY good repellant due to it's strong smell. Especially since, not only does it repel insects, but it can also kill them too! Ever notice how bugs have a shiny coating on them? That coating keeps them hydrated. The oil destroys that coating, so the bugs become un-alived via dehydration. So if you or Daidus ever decide to travel in the future, and are REALLY concerned about staying in a hotel for fear of bedbugs, try to carry a spray bottle filled with the stuff. You'll all smell minty, and the bugs will piss off, or meet God! EDIT: Also, I'm so sorry to hear about how god awful it was for you and Daidus all the way until the end. If you ever decide to travel again in the future, I hope your trip then won't even be anywhere NEAR 1/10th of a pain this trip was.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Since you requested worst travel stories, I'll give two. First is my worst 'not fun' story, which was having a full-blown panic attack traveling back home from the USA. I paid for a window seat and got right in the middle row, in the middle of the plane (I get travel sick, so that was a concern), I was sandwiched between two people so I couldn't reach my meds (I struggle to deal with strangers at the best of times) and I was traveling away from my best friend and only real family I have. I felt sick, I struggled to breathe and it took all my power to get to the restroom. The moment I did, I had a very audible panic attack. Next thing i remember, one of the staff have pulled me away, gave me water and handed me a bag to take my meds. They weren't anxiety med, they were anti-sickness meds, but they did evoke drowsiness. They had nowhere else for me to go (I was ready to lay on the floor for the whole trip, but I knew that couldn't happen) so I was moved back to my seat where I slept for half the trip and remained catatonic for the rest of it. Also my foot was fucked and needed help moving around. They provided a wheelchair, but dumped me on the wrong side of the airport and took the wheelchair away. That sucked. I was the last to get off my final connecting flight and the metal wheelchair this airport had prepared was left in the hot, summer sun for 15 minutes. First time I ever got sun burnt from a wheelchair. The 'fun' story was a domestic flight. I figured since the flight was only an hour that I didn't need to bother with ginger or meds, so I took neither. I started feeling sick ten minutes in, but the people traveling with me kept telling me that I was fine and that I had nothing to complain about. I was breathing like I was ready to give birth by the end. The lady at the end told everyone else to have a good day, but she took one look at my pale face and asked if I was going to faint. I told her that I was about five seconds away from spewing and I was quickly sat and given water, so I could have time to settle. The people with me were definitely sheepish for the rest of the day, that was sure.

“So you’re saying there’s still a chance?” This sums it up perfectly, personally speaking. The odds can be 1 in a billion, and the worry will remain because you know in the back of your head that all it takes is a bad roll of the dice, figuratively-speaking. Granted, that applies to everything; I believe we’ve magnified it with planes due to how much coverage incidents involving them get. Doesn’t quell the anxiety those of us get for flying in the end. In short, I share the exact same sentiment, down to the letter.

I am so so sorry that this happened to you and Daidus. That really sucks and I am so sorry for your loss. You both need a hug. I don’t like traveling either, but it usually ends okay. My worst trip though was when my parents took my to San Diego as a Christmas present. I got air sick on the plane for the first time. When we got there I got super congested, and was coughing and struggling to make my voice heard while at Sea world watching Shamu for the last time. We went on my first whale watching expedition in the luxurious captains quarters and even after taking medications threw up minutes after the ship took off. I spent the rest of the expedition behind the ship in clothes covered in stomach acid and seeing no sea life. My mom got sick soon after me and spent the rest the trip with me. The rest the trip went alright, but when we got back in the plane ride home I got sick again. I have never been so sick on a trip before of since then.

I’m so sorry for Daidus’ loss! My aunt went through a similar situation last month. We lost our grandma when my aunt was visiting Japan. It was horrible. Take all the time you need. My worst travel experience came from one of my best trips. I went to Costa Rica during the time of the FIFA World Cup. Everyone was super friendly, lively and happy. But I went zip lining and my shirt got stuck in the pulley that took you down to the next zip line level. The guy had to cut it off with a knife and take me down, exposing my bra to my whole extended family. I also sprained my ankle because the Airbnb had an indoor pond running through it that I forgot about when I went to get water at 3am. I was also stung by fire ants and my cousin had an allergic reaction to some gift shop chapstick. All and all I’d do the whole thing again because the vibes from the people were so great.

Two months after I moved to Japan, I got that phone call too. Hugs for you both. I also had a pretty awful time in the UK. The details aren't particularly funny to relate, but there was this one moment during an awful bus ride that I remember fondly. I looked down at a newspaper someone had tossed on the floor, and spotted the headline, "Geologists : Brittan will disappear beneath the ocean," and I was filled with a warm, golden glow of happiness that still remains with me today.

I’m so sorry to hear that you and Daidus had a rough trip, especially at the end… I hope Daidus is doing better! I will share my goofy travel mishap story to hopefully lighten up the mood in the comments like Emily suggested! It’s a tad long so buckle up! This year I went on a mission trip to Wyoming with my college pastor and a few fellow students in the ministry. This was my first time flying EVER! I was so excited to spend a week in a new state! The flight there went fine and I had a blast (a good friend of mine was sitting next to me and he is a missionary kid, so my excitement about being in a plane amused him to no end). We were there to help a church in a small town with their VBS, but in-between our work at the church we did sight seeing. One morning we went to a local hunting spot and it was gorgeous. We were all a bit spread out taking photos of wildflowers and the mountains (we don’t have mountains where I live lol) and I eventually decided to get out of the field and onto the main path. But I somehow tripped in a way that sprained BOTH MY ANKLES. I immediately collapsed and cried out. The girls closest to me ran to my side and my college pastor and the pastor from the church we were serving also hurried over. Luckily for me, in this tiny town of 2000 residents the local pastor’s wife happened to be the town physician. So he knew a bit about how to help with injuries. He helped me stand and we concluded it was sprains with the most damage on my left foot. We all packed up in our rental car and left immediately. We bought myself an ankle brace and the next day was set aside for sight seeing since we had finished the VBS. I walked with two twisted ankles for HOURS. That night we drove back to Salt Lake City in Utah where we had flown in from. We got into our hotel rooms and I was first on the shower roster for me and the girls I was sharing a room with. I went into the bathroom and took my shoes off only to find them so swollen and bruised. I thought “I’m probably being dramatic.” And took a shower. After I was dressed, I came out and asked the girls what they thought. They immediately FREAKED out at the sight, insisted I sit down and elevate, two left to get me ice, and the other convinced me to text photos of my feet to my college pastor (something I never thought I’d have to say). My college pastor responded with “Welp. Looks like we aren’t walking around salt lake before our flight tomorrow!” So my second flight (my return home) ended with me being in a wheelchair at the airport and my college pastor admitting that in all his mission trips with students he’d never had to wheel one through an airport lol. We got priority seating though and we made it back home safe! It took about two weeks at home of elevation and ice, but I healed up well!

I drive daily becomes it is a necessary requirement for me to get to places on time. and 2. I am terrified when driving and always assume I'll have an accident. This was so bad that when I was 16 and could get my learners, I spent literal weeks memorising the legislation for all road rules and procedures to try and make myself the safest driver I could be." PS. I have never had an accident or ran into anything, but my fear when driving never stops.

The last bit of the video hit me hard, having experienced some of the most hellish travel after a massive loss. I hope you and Daidus are doing alright and I hope you're taking care. My worst travel experience by far was to Singapore. We were traveling to a funeral after losing a beloved family member, and our hearts were heavy, but the universe decided to mess with us even further by delaying our flights three times. We initially were supposed to have a layover at Narita Airport and then fly into Singapore, but our flight to Japan got canceled after the airline made us wait in the airport for 14 hours. To add insult to injury, they made us board twice before taking us off the plane and telling us there would be more delays. Amidst all of this we were calling relatives and trying to deal with funeral preparations, so we were absolutely dead inside. The next flight we got was at 4 in the morning the next day, so we briefly stayed with a friend and barely got time to sleep before we flew out to Japan. Then, upon finally arriving in Narita, we were informed that our flight to Singapore was delayed and then canceled. At this point, we were grieving and exhausted, and couldn't understand the language which made it difficult to figure out how to proceed. We ran around the airport trying to figure out how to get a new flight to Singapore and finally found an English-speaking staff to translate. My mother broke down and explained our situation, and after the staff translated, the lady at the desk we were at suddenly started crying. We were taken aback by how sudden it was, but she was very kind and empathetic towards us and helped us to find the next flight, even taking us to the terminal. That was a gesture of kindness that I'll always remember. After over 24 straight hours of travel, we finally, somehow, made it to Singapore. I'll never forget that entire travel ordeal, and to this day, I still get slight PTSD when I see a flight delay. Somehow though, the pure bad timing and bad luck of everything made for a story that we could look back and laugh on. In the moment, it was awful and frankly traumatizing, but the kindness we received from strangers during a rough time is a reminder of how good people can be.

Worst international travel experience was my first one, actually. January 2024 (this year), my family finally went on our long awaited trip to the Philippines. There was a wholeass 10 of us, because this included my older sister's then fiance (now husband) and my oldest brother's then girlfriend (now fiance) The first five days were hell!! We leave 1am on New Years Day and arrive at the airport, so far so good. Turns out, we had to cram ALL TEN of us into this van that was most certainly not big enough, and we spent the next few days driving and stressed because there was so much we had to do. I ended up all sweaty and itchy for the first three days, with barely any sleep and without a shower, because we were going around so much. It calmed down after that but dammit, that was lowkey hell

Okay, my worst travel experience would be July 2013, when my family went on holiday to a really cheap caravan holiday park, basically a lower quality, lower budget version of Haven or Butlins. There was barely anything to do on-site, the place was *infested* with geese so there were droppings everywhere, and then, unbeknownst to everyone else, on the third night of the trip I ended up getting food poisoning, I think, which made the last day of the trip even less fun.

My worst travel experience was when I was flying back from university and had a really bad experience with air pressure on the plane. I have pretty damn good hearing and my ears are so sensitive to pressure changes that just driving downhill can make my ears pop, so the pressure changes on planes is always painful. But this time around it was on another level and even though I was using multiple techniques to reduce it, the pain felt like my head was being crushed on a hydraulic press. I came pretty close to blacking out, and apparently looked bad enough for an attendant to ask me if I was okay. I managed to get through it but I was in pain for days afterwards, and it took almost 2 weeks before I finally felt normal again.
@nifft.3115 Жыл бұрын
I’m glad I’m not crazy for experiencing excruciating pain from air pressure changes in an airplane. I have a solution: barometric / air pressure ear plugs! They’re funky-looking ear plugs that look like layers of silicon discs. They allow the air pressure changes to occur more gradually and prevent the air pressure from causing so much pain. They’re a life saver!

As a Londoner who've been to all parts of the UK in my life till now, watching this video actually made me feel so dayum ashamed tbh. Since you shared us this painful experience, i feel that I should share a very similar experience in solidarity with you & Daedus' UK experience. Last Summer, we decided to go to Crete, Greece & to kickstart our hellish descent, our flight from Stansted Airport was delayed by 3 hours due to a guy in a wheelchair being found at the back of our plane (prolly from the previous flight) & no-one wheeled him out. Me & my brothers all sat together on a plane for the first time..... but we were surrounded front, back & side by screaming toddlers & babies on a 2 & ½ hour flight. Got to our hotel at 1am but the rooms were both wrong & dirty asf and we had to sleep till morning to ask for a room change (had to pay €50 for it). Our hotel was poorly air-conditioned, lack of decent bar, 99% of the other guests at the hotel spoke German & 0 English and the WiFi in our rooms were absolutely non-existent. Our travel provider (which was TUI) didn't have any representative at the hotel so we had to go find out what to do on Crete ourselves + pay for travel too. We hired a car for 3 days to make up for it but the traffic of Crete + Road quality was beyond mental, as well as how our Dad had to step up to drive since our younger bro is still legally too young to drive on foreign roads yet but our Dad hasn't driven a car for 5 years & so it was...... *life-threatening* to be in that car, 100%. We did do a lot of good stuff on Crete luckily but last day was an absolute torrential downpour + *the most terrifying Greek thunderstorm I've witnessed.* Going bsck to tbe UK, our coach transfer to the Crete airport was delayed by 1 hour due to traffic and despite getting to the waiting lobby in 20 minutes, *our 10pm flight was delayed & became a 1am flight.* Once again, me & my 2 brothers were seated together but with the same "surrounded by noisy babies & toddlers" situation, it wasn't a happy flight tbh. Tired, exhausted & literally about to give up on life, our dad had managed to forget both his passport & money for the taxi, we spent hours finding both & as we got to the taxi lounge, we find out our taxi man ditched us for another job so we had to wait an hour for another Taxi and by 4am, we were home sweet home. All of us had sum tea & biscuits to replenish our souls, sorted out our luggage best we could and we all fell asleep till 11am/12pm the next day. Ultimately, we decided to never ever ever fucking A) book with TUI again & B) never go to Crete again.

Hey! I’m so sorry for your loss Daidus. None of this is your fault, and I send my condolences. I don’t really have any terrible traveling experiences because I don’t travel that much, but I’m under the age of 18, so I’m always traveling with my family. My parents.. aren’t on the best terms and always find ways to argue with each other. Family trips start with arguments, have arguments in between, and end in arguments. It’s exhausting and always ruins the trip for me no matter how much I should be used to it because it sort of happens a lot. I’m a sensitive person when it comes to this stuff because it used to be so much worse a few years ago when I wasn’t even 10 years old. They would throw things at each other and stay at hotels for the night etc. now even threatening a divorce is normal for them. This happens on almost every trip, so if it counts, I would consider it my worst traveling experience. Again, I’m so sorry for all the shit that happened.. it sucks so much that a trip like this that was supposed to be super fun ended up so stressful, frustrating, and saddening in all sorts of ways. My worst flying experience was thinking it would be a good idea to fly from East Coast Canada to West Coast California for 3 days during American Thanksgiving... also my day flying back home I kept throwing up due to little food, period, stress and motion sickness. You really know it's bad when the flight has landed and your waiting in the aisle and you have to quickly ask/motion to the people in the other row to give their barf bag.

I can only relate to how frustrating travel can be sometimes. I reckon my worst experience was a cancelled flight that took the airline about 4 hours to notify us that it was cancelled… and then making us wait in line for 2 more hours for them to arrange alternate flights. On a side note, that last part of the video just goes to show that nothing compares to the blessing of life and that all those inconveniences are small compared to other issues. Whatever it is you guys are going through, I do hope you are managing to navigate through it to the best of your abilities and I do send my heartfelt condolences.

I’m so sorry for y’all’s loss, I hope y’all are doing alright! Hopefully this will give you guys a laugh. When I was little my mom, my older brother, and I were waiting in an airport for our flight, I have a tendency to burp very loud and with a whole lot of gusto (like seriously it’s either an explosion or I sound like a growling animal there is no in between) so we were just chilling when one snuck up on me, a big one, like my mom looked at me in horror because of how intense it was. I being the child raised with manners that I was immediately said “excuse me!” (Note I was a small girl, like no one would have assumed I was the source of the explosive burp) and I wasn’t aware three random strangers had turned to investigate the source. A lady yells out “oh! I thought my brother was behind me!” Cue laughter on all sides while I sit there mildly embarrassed but mostly laughing because everyone else is laughing. That was well over 15 years ago and my brother still makes the joke when I burp: “The TSA just flinched” 😂

No kidding, man. It's still a dream of mine to one day see other countries and places, but good lord am I terrified that something bad will happen outside of home. I know bad things can happen to you in the comfort of your hometown as well as out of it, but it feels like you're leaving a safe zone and whatever dangers occur are being subtly courted by you just for being new to wherever you're going.

My condolences. Just take things one step at a time. If this still hurts at 100%, take all the breaks you need. Grief never fully goes away, and on somedays it hits ya harder more than others. Just let it all out and take your time. Added: I know you said tell travel stories, but apologies. I lost someone recently and haven't really traveled 😅

Condolences to Daidus for his loss. By Emily’s request, here’s my worst travel experience! I don’t get to travel very much, and as such, I’ve only been on about two trips that require plane flight, this particular trip was from my state, to Oregon, and back, with a layover flight on the way back. The trip to Oregon went smoothly, with maybe one minor hiccup, and me getting lost in the airport, but other than that I had an amazing time visiting family and seeing Oregon. Shit hit the fan on the way back. My trip was during winter break, so naturally it was very cold, but something I didn’t anticipate was a borderline blizzard happening on my way home. Shockingly, my first flight wasn’t delayed, we got to the Texas airport for my layover on time, but the problem was trying to get OFF the plane. During flight the plane’s wings were frozen over, and they needed to thaw them before it could fly again. For some reason, they made everyone stay on board during this process, and because my layover was only about 10-20 minutes, I was getting a little antsy, especially considering I had never been to this airport by myself. When we were finally let off, I started sprinting through the airport with my carry on, hoping I would make it in time for my connecting flight. I got a notification on my phone on the way to the gate, informing me that I was late, and I kinda just collapsed in the airport not knowing how to proceed. I kinda just sat on the floor until I heard an announcement over the intercoms that my layover got delayed, so I still had time to get there. I made it with maybe 2 minutes to spare! Boarding the plane I realized my phone’s battery and other devices were either dead or dying, so I was hoping there would be outlets on the plane… there were not. I knocked out on the plane with no form of communication, and when I finally got to my destination, I couldn’t contact the people picking me up until AFTER I got my luggage from baggage claim. It wasn’t as bad of a situation that it could have been, but it was still very stressful 😅

Wow, that is SO lucky! I could just feel the devastation when you said you were informed you were late. But then your layover got delayed, wow. That's so insanely lucky.

I am so sorry that this happened to you and Daidus, Emily. It couldn’t be any worse than my own worst traveling experience which I never told any of my closest friends but I can at least tell it to you,: So in July of this year, my parents and I decided to go to Marbella, Spain for vacation and we were so excited for it, despite how much airports and the traveling process is extremely over stimulating. So after we arrived to Spain, we were completely jet lagged, tired and extremely hungry. When we made it to our hotel, our room wasn’t ready yet and we had to wait at least 3 or 4 hours so my dad decided to take us out to lunch. And one of the biggest mistakes we made was leaving our luggage in our rented car while we ate at the restaurant. By the time we were about to head back to our hotel, we noticed that the window of the backseat of our rented car was shattered and ALL of our luggage, including my dad’s laptop, my old iPad, my headphones, my sketchbook, my stuffed animal, my mom’s favorite accessories, gifts and my new clothes were ALL stolen!!! We called the police and tried to find the thieves, but to no avail… Similarly to what Sydney said when first arriving to London I said, “what a way to start our vacation!!” My mom was panicking, I was trying to stay calm and my dad continued to convince the police and the owner of the restaurant to keep finding the thieves and tracking their vehicle but nothing. After 5 hours of waiting and trying to resolve this horrible situation, we eventually gave up, rented a different car and returned to our hotel empty handed. And don’t worry, we still had our wallets, passports and phones, but we lost EVERYTHING. We had to shop for some hair products, skin products, clothes, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpastes, suitcases, shoes etc. This experience slowly took a toll on me and I started crying in my sleep while sleeping with my mom too since I didn’t want to sleep alone. Despite what happened we still continued on with our trip and regardless of what happened, we still had an amazing time and we even got to visit my aunt and her family in Italy! But minus our experience, because of the recent jet lags from our connecting flights I was getting easily tired, stressed and weaker and I wanted nothing but to scream and cry but throughout three weeks of my life while in Europe, I held it all in, but by the time me and my dad and arrived back to the states after our trip (my mom stayed for one more week to spent more time with my aunt) and finding out our large suitcases wouldn't be arriving to the states in a few days, I couldn’t handle it anymore. Tears started melting down my face and I started crying like a grown a$$ baby. I started having a complete meltdown and complaining how traveling sucks, how much I hate it and airports are so absurd, etc. But, after all this I managed to calm down and recovered and me and my family pulled through. After the trip I had to do a lot of shopping, finding the hair/skin products and clothes that were similar to the ones they were stolen and I even had to wait two whole months to get a new iPad and a new set of headphones! Most of the clothes that were new and my favorites were neither in the shops or online anymore because either they were out of stock or sold out. Sooooo yeah that was probably one of the worst traveling experiences that me and my family ever had but what’s important is that we’re all ok, safe and sound. I’m planning on taking a one or two year break from traveling after the experience, though I still want to go to Japan but I think I can wait a little bit longer on that. Again Emily, Daidus, I’m sorry about your UK experience and Daidus I’m so sorry for your loss. My condolences to you both. We love you 💕❤🙏🏼

I can't imagine how stressful getting that kind of news on a flight would be, I hope he feels a lot better now although I know the pain never goes away, I still miss my grandfather who passed away a few months ago... I trust you'll be there for him, I hope you all feel better soon :( (And sydney is definitely the friend everyone wants and needs)
