What a game it was. Just before blunder from opponent, Pia said, "We have little bit of hope. We must keep on hoping. We must always keep on having hope." and the rest you know. Now it's time to start eating vegetables 😂. (Kikiriki is missing today😂)

I believe it was Yasser that once said during commentary that he learned if you face a choice of where to place your king (Kh2 or Kh1), then it’s almost always better to place it on the opposite color square of where the queen currently sits, wherever it may be. Just reaffirms that Kh1 was indeed a better choice.

The hallmark of the very best players is to pull these kinds of stalemate defenses on a regular basis. And the key to getting these draws is to play on until you are absolutely sure your opponent will not make a mistake in the end game. Which usually means playing until the most simple of positions.

I’ve been a ghost supporter for awhile now. You’re the only chess player I watch on YT. I’m a newbie in chess, however I’ve noticed you think too much because you’re too attach to winning rather than just playing. It frees you from expectation which allows you to follow your gut more often. I could see you on top like Magnus if you conquer “chip on your shoulder”. Rooting for you Anne!
