I still like comics who just tell jokes...but I think you're right...this is a whole different genre...he's not telling jokes, he's using jokes to tell his story...and to do a whole special that is basically one long story is pretty fucking excellent. I love Ali...but I also love Rodney Dangerfield who never told a story longer than a one liner and never told us anything about his personal life.

I had the pleasure of seeing this man do stand up years ago. Ran into him as I was getting in my car to leave with my girlfriend, he just happened to be walking in the same direction. I simply said, "you were great man, keep it up" or something of the same respect. He spoke with my girlfriend and I for a few minutes about the set and if he is coming back in the future, plans to keep going with his career... absolute sweetheart and a gentleman. I wish you continued success! We have all done things, those who haven't: you are boring, your stories suck. That is why I am an Ali fan now.
