I Installed a New Valvetronic Exhaust on my F80 BMW M3! + Driving Footage!!

In this video we replace our stock exhaust system and downpipes on our BMW F80 M3 with a full exhaust system from Stone Exhaust. Stone Exhaust sent us their catless downpipes and valvetronic exhaust system for the F80 F82 M3 M4 S55. the heatwrap will also keep the heat in the exhaust gas and that makes it wanting to escape earlier and that is beneficial and you get more power..

I wish you could do an e46 M3 exhaust that doesn’t sound like a farting rasp can at low revs. I have yet to hear a great aftermarket exhaust for that car. Great vids by the way!

Super sprint definitely sounds good paired with a rasp eliminator and you will get a much deeper sound

@@ShopLifeTV What "Rasp Eliminator" are you referring to please? I have a Super Sprint Muffler and Headers on my S54 and it sounds great except for at certain RPM's when the Rasp comes in and wrecks it all! It still has the stock resonators on it but I don't know what to replace them with or exactly what to do.

The Active Autowerke EL (Equal Length) exhaust is what you need. Their full exhaust is close in price to your Stone exhaust, but sounds 100 times better! It has that perfect inline-6 sound, I have it installed on my F82 manual Comp

I've heard the AA midpipe and it definitely helps the farty sound, but the sure way to make the f80 sound good is the single turbo conversion lol

Thanks Greg! It's super easy to enable the burbles with a tune, we are not planning on any tuning until we do the Crank Hub preventative fix.

Instead of soapy water, use a personal lubricant like KY Jelly.

19:10 Wait....So the F80 M3 M4 now comes with a Twin Turbo set up? Because they didn't before that as they had what BMW called the "Twin Scroll" which is a single turbo with a kind of two way manifold to make it scroll up to speed similar to a twin T. But is not an actual twin turbo like the 2011 "1M' is and all other N54 engines are.

The S55 is a twin turbo setup, the N55 found in the Non-M cars is a twinscroll

hi and thank you great information, I have BMW e60 2005 120k m and I changed the gearbox 6 moth ago but it show me code A0b1 ( input, selector lever implausible) and the car make some problem like it take long time to start and the rpm some time go more than normal and some time not start and some time during if I but the gear box on N the engine stop and not start aging. I replaced fuel pump and the fuel filter and Crank sensor, please advice.
