lol. bro you are studying for GATE, you should be aware how tough these subjects are, it's not for everyone. even if it was for everyone, a lot of them will be left behind due to toughest exams with limited seats to actually get decent education to follow those subjects. Be it JEE or GATE. it's tough and requires a lot of formal education and very high level of academic performance, other being the market - most people don't have time or the money or brains. also the market demands are small and only for very skilled people. majority of tech market is application software driven. in the end a lot of people actually do it but it's not talked enough that much.

@@vaibhavagarwal602 yes. terrible education is one part but it's not anybody's fault i think. realize that india does not have almost any scope for those fields (very few). Everyone moves abroad. Almost no one has any practical knowledge or experience, (professors, seniors, or tech people) maybe some have only at top colleges. All of the tech comes from mostly USA. Most of the professors have followed the same syllabus of today. Did MTech and that's it. Now they are teachers. Web dev and DSA is one easy way for most people to get into IT rather than cracking top IITs and moving to USA for further studies.

well college are labeled based on the resources they are providing to the students and their results, its easier for students to choose colleges based on tiers so they know what resources they are getting compared to others and companies also choose high tier colleges to hire employes, not everyone is getting the same resources and thats the truth

It's more of fashion statement , IIM Jammu or Shillong is equivalent to so called 2,3 tier colleges. If you make a word cloud of this channel, all you will see iss IIT USA IIT USA IIT USA - again fashion statement

Its very obvious that someone from an IIT will have more opportunities as compared to any locally known university. Its easier to get the idea about the college and the student studying in them based on tiers

Dehradun has highest no of tier college as every college student. Its the person willingness that want to learn a skilll and student there did not want to learn so they are not questioning their college and demand is being met. Faculties in coding college have little to no coding project experience its simple they are for teaching feild and goverment or easy job profile. as elon musk said for rocket enginwer hiring at spacex its sameif person is good at coding why he is in a teaching college not in overseas companies

What is difference between tier 3 college and tier 2 college? In ghaziabad, noida many engineering colleges having 6 lpa median salary are considered tier 3 but i heard tier 3 colleges have zero placement opportunities. This is false for ghaziabad, Noida tier 3 colleges. Students have also cracked faang through these colleges . Tier 2 colleges are for eg jaypee noida and thapad where median salary is 8 lpa so i think there is not much difference between tier 3 and tier 2 colleges.

You will have to choose to specialise in a field, do DSA like 1hr a day, learn about dynamic programming. Then learn other stuff be it backend , frontend or DB. 1 step at a time

He may not have experienced the horrors of Tier 3 colleges Student's Hopes and Ambitions gets shredded to pieces when they realize where they have got themselves into. where the Infrastructure is just barely good, while the faculty are just intelligent enough to read the English sentences in there own broken pronunciations, let alone teach a subject. where In the name of Jobs Companies visits only to find labours. where low middle class families with all their efforts Invest their hard earned money in these tier 3 colleges just for the students to get a College degree with little to no value at all. I'm also from an IIT, and the truth is that what's being taught here hasn't significantly helped anyone secure a good job. Those who have landed great jobs have done so through their own hard work and self-study. Labeling institutions into tiers creates a mindset among students that their future is already predetermined, which discourages them from putting in the extra effort. So instead of complaining, if your hopes are diminishing, take action and work harder to change your situation.
