Hey Claus - Survey: I bought ZERO holiday boxes this year for the first time in several years! I credit that wise decision to two factors: a) Hearing in my head your sarcastic commentary on the entire loot box idiocy and b) the feeling I get at the end of each WoT session when I realize how many 3 or 4-minute blowout games I've just endured (win or lose it's still a waste of time and even the wins are joyless target practice). I stopped playing the game two years ago after 6 years but was still watching your vids, I installed it again, nothing new under the sun, we must accept and know this game is rigged and play mindfully accordingly, triggering far less hate to other players... frustration based game that makes you addict to it , looking for that small shoot of dopamine rewards you get in between frustration episodes. That's exactly how I feel. However I only played the game for one year going into it knowing it was not good for your mental health. Getting into a serious clan is a mistake because it becomes a job. Playing just for fun and not caring about your ranking is the way it must be for me to have fun.

I bought 2 batches of 11 boxes - Mainly to get a start on the Holiday event, and a bit of a gold boost. Amazingly, the 2nd batch of 11 dropped the XM57, and two boxes later, the booster DZT-159.... Only played one game in each so far, and was in games with multiples of the same tank. Both seem decent and will prob get played more over the next few months. First batch of 11, got the tier 5 Russian TD built on a Sherman chassis, and a style for my tier 10 Russian arty.... Most years I'll get some extra lootboxes around New-Year, but didn't push my luck this year.

I did buy the 4 offer boxes for a bargain 86 British pence. Box 1 - XM57 , 😂🎉 One trick pony, bullies in T6-8 games if you keep everything in front. Side armour hopeless, bottom plate made of soft cheese, and sniping in higher t8-10 games hopeless, hit 1 in 3. WG balance already happens as 9 in 10 games T8 and up. Still, it was a lucky dip and I guess I got lucky, could have got the auto cannon tank! Keep the content coming , happy New Year and good luck to all Canadians.

I got all the premium tanks, and I've enjoyed them mostly. I haven't played the British double shot one very much, less than 10 battles, I'd say. The Chinese rocket tank and the XM57 are probably the highlights of the available choices.

Hey Claus. I did buy 80 boxes this year, and I was lucky to get the 5th premium on the last 80th box. But, the reason I buy the boxes is mainly the gold and credits. 30.500 gold is 100 Euros. With the boxes I got that, plus 5 premium IX and VIIIs, plus credits and all the other things, which otherwise would have cost more. I think this is the value of the boxes and not the tanks per se. Happy new year and wishes for the 100.000 mark on 2025!

I played from 2012 to 2015 and got back into it since 2023, but only a few matches per week. On the first day, I boughtthe Christmas pack with 160 loot boxes (R$ 610.44 = $142.78 CAD), and luckily I got the five of T8 and T9 tanks and a few lower-tier ones-probably about 5. Along with that, I got gold, some skins, and credits. I earned another one from the tokens given as Twitch drops. As for the difference in gun handling between back then and now, sorry, but I didn’t notice much change. Since I play with about 150 ping, I always aim fully, and RNG is just part of it. I’ve kind of gotten used to it. For me, nothing has changed aside from the reduced number of those tanks in matches.

I don't play as often now, but the boxes are still good value. I buy $100 worth of boxes every year and it lasts me the entire year. For my $100 I got a guaranteed tank, which turned out to be the Squall. I currently am sitting at Zero battles played in the Squall and am not sure if I will ever play it. Do I feel ripped off, a little, but I mostly buy them for the gold and bonuses. Last year I got a rocket tank, which is fun to troll around in.

I play it since 2012, I bought the KV5 back when KV5 was a good tank, then 3 weeks later i started getting some 75% loss games, and i started losing credits with the KV5, so i got angry and sold it for credits to buy the T30. After that i played mostly for fun another few years, only with the T30 and KV2, after which i stopped playing and had enough WOT by just looking at you getting trolled by RNG... that was 6 years ago and i have never looked back.

Paid £90 for boxes and by my calcs got £110 of Gold and Premium days so the credits, XM57 and Toro I got were bonuses. December and January are the only time I play WOT regularly so good value as far as I am concerned.

I bought 3 boxes for the squall and then 160 boxes, the rest of the 4, 80,000 gold and 5 million credits. The DZT - 159 is the most OP, 3 skill crew and this tank rolls 520 damage often, its turret is strong against all tier 6-9… super fast extremely flexible just as good (not as noob proof) as bz176…. Torro sucks! Squall is situational, contra is good, and the TD is great when played supportively!
