This is beautiful! When you are with the right person you are authentically yourself and that’s a gift I’ve received this year when I met my soul sister. We are in an age gap friendship and long distance. From the moment we first did FaceTimes I knew instantly that I could be my real self to her and that was something that was hard for me in the past since I have a disability. We are each other’s biggest fans in everything we do. It’s such a blessing to have this kind of love with someone romantic or platonic 💗

Omg, I SO love this video, darling! I'd forgotten how dramatic this situation was. It's funny but sometimes the things that one thinks will end a relationship serve instead to accelerate and deepen it. That certainly happened with us and it's a beautiful memory to conjure. I love this video because it shows the sometimes fraught nature of beginning or early intimacy. I now understand even more deeply the stress you must have felt in calibrating the "right" time to let me know that you had the magical creative outlet of KZbin in which you invest so much of the richness of who you are. Lied by omission…there’s nothing wrong with that especially in the beginning of any relationship because in my opinion…you shouldn’t open up completely until something tells you it’s the right time. A similar thing happened to me when I met my husband on a blind date 28 years ago. I didn’t open up completely for about 3 weeks and it was actually a good things since he was doing the same. Needless to say we got serious really fast and he proposed in less than 3 months…married a year and a half later when I was finished college. We’ve been happily married for over 26 years now with 2 grown children in their 20’s . To end this I assure you that lying by omission can actually be a good thing when it comes to new relationships or friendships❤️
